Introduction
Hello, and first, thank you for clicking on my guide.
In this guide I'm going to go over the basics of PWND, for anyone new, followed by my slightly less basic explanation of how you should play the character "Law".
I will be going over his weapon, abilities, his positives, and his negatives.
I hope you enjoy, and I am very open to comments below, or feel free to add me if you wish to discuss.
So, you want to play PWND?
Now, before I go over the specific character "Law" in PWND, I would like to quickly go over the basics of the game, as some players may be unfamiliar- so here I am to explain the mechanics of the game.
It's an arena shooter.
There are 4 characters (as of 25/7/17); Hank, Law, Splice, and Ito.
Each character has their own weapon, abilities, and health.
The scoring mechanism is a very interesting one, however-
To score, you knock your opponents health to 0.
This knocks them into a crawling state. From there, you have options.
Either:
  • 1) Fight the rest of the opponents off
  • 2) PWN the player there and then
  • 3) Carry the player to another location, then PWN them there
  • 4) RUN FOR YOUR LIFE

If you chose 1, and you fought the rest off, that player crawling will eventually die UNLESS they pick up a health pack (yes, a health pack restores a crawling player to a physical state!)
If you chose 2, you have the chance to gain however many points that player is worth (2x level) UNLESS there is a stack- if there is a stack, it will take longer to PWN but will be worth more! :)
If you chose 3, you have a certain timer before the character you're carrying (by pressing q) will just disappear from your hands, but this gives you some form of safety as opposed to the open grounds.
If you chose 4, I don't blame you- in many situations, as a player of PWND, I've had to run away once I've got a kill, due to more than one player focussing rockets at me!

Now, I'm going to give an explanation as to each of Law's abilities, his weapon and how he should be played.
Law Introduction

This is Law. He's a huge tanky character compared to the rest- read on and you'll see why I think that.
Primary Weapon - Regulator
Law's Weapon looks like this:

Law's rocket launcher fires 3 shots which all deal up to 165 damage, causing up to 495 damage per shot. They explode, causing AoE- this means Law's weapon, like Ito and Hank's, can damage more than one person at a time with the same shot (theoretically, if you aimed properly Splice's could too but his is different.)
Due to Law's high HP, he is a very tanky character, which allows him to push close range as WELL as long range. From close range, he can deal damage quickly but his range does not weaken his shots- as long as you hit them properly.
Ability 1 - Lockdown Shield
If you want protection while you PWN but your teammates can't protect you, the lockdown shield is your best defense mechanism.

When this is deployed, it creates a huge shield which protects you from the enemy- your team can run through it but the opposing team cannot. This makes it a very useful ability as you can shield teammates while they PWN.
One thing to do with the lockdown shield which I'm trying to learn to use is to prevent opponents from grabbing health packs, by "locking them down" in a shield. This is very effective, as you can keep the offensive plays in action while not allowing your opponents to heal and fight.
Ability 2 - Tesla Slug
Law's second ability ties in the fact that he is a tanky character. However, even tanks need to heal health sometimes, and his tesla slug prevents the opponents from following as they're stunned.

The tesla slug is a shot which stuns opponents (as it says ^). However, this has many practical uses.
For example, one use is that the tesla slug can be used to escape your opponents.
Another is that the tesla slug can be used to prevent your opponents from fleeing you.
A third is that the tesla slug can be used to change a 2v1 situation into one of them attempting to flee/being temporarily stunned while you fight the other.
There are many practical uses for his tesla slug.
Movement - Power Slam

Law's power slam is a very clever way of escaping a fight, or a very clever way of introducing yourself to a fight. You can use it to either fly super high and escape the incoming attacks, or you can use it to slam yourself right into the firing zone and deal hordes of damage as you do so- you can really catch an opponent offguard due to the speed Law slams.
Conclusion
In conclusion, Law is a tanky character who can be used in a variety of ways, but will always bring a new strategy to the game zone. He can be used to protect, or used to search and destroy..
If you are starting out, I recommend trying Law for his tanky HP, combined with his high-damage rocket launcher.
If you are trying to become a professional and are looking at Law, I would say his HP is probably the biggest thing there- unlike the rest of the characters, his power slam does not help him maneuvure around the map as fast, but his extra HP, combined with his shield and his slug make up for this.

NOTE: I have not written a pros/cons section for Law because he can be used in too many different ways, it all depends on how you want to play Law.
You can play him tanky, rushy, or you can use him as a key defense character.

Law is my preferred character. Some other tips/hints:
-The Tesla slug will stun an opponent who is pwning and make them have to pwn longer.
-When a Vex is trying to stop my pwn, I always Power Slam into the air immediately and fire a Tesla slug to stun them since they will be in melee range
-If I am playing against a Vex I will save the Tesla slug until grabbed by a Vex. I will fire the slug to stun them, and that's often enough time to damage them enough to kill them or force them to flee. If you have the shield you can stun and then trap them in the shield for a sure kill.
