This guide lists all of the possible epilogues in The Letter and the criteria for unlocking them, as well as tips for reaching some of the more difficult epilogues.

It's tricky to pin down the exact criteria for what unlocks each epilogue, so while I've done my best, it's entirely possible I've made some mistakes. If you find an error anywhere in the guide, please leave a comment to let me know!

This is a fairly advanced guide that assumes you've already finished the game a few times. As such,
this guide contains unmarked spoilers. In addition, this guide will not explain how to get a particular character to be alive or dead, or how to reach specific chapter endings. If you're not sure how to do that, please check another guide or the forums for more information.

The majority of the epilogues are based on your relationship points between certain characters. However, since the relationship bars in the game don't show numbers, it can be difficult to tell exactly how many points you have. In the guide I use "very high", "high", and "low" to describe the point values you'll need, so I'm going to take a moment to explain what I mean by those.

You need very high points to trigger romantic relationships. This means your relationship bar needs to be either at maximum or very close to maximum. If possible, max it out to be safe.





You need high points to trigger positive friendship epilogues. This can range from a bit above the starting value to maximum. You can get away with being only a few points above the starting value, but you're better off going a few points higher to be safe.







You need low points to trigger negative friendship epilogues. Anything lower than "high" counts as low. Keep your points at or below the starting value and you'll be fine.





Some epilogues require particular point values for multiple characters and can be a bit tricky to get. If you're having trouble, I recommend using my Relationship Point Guide to plan your choices out in advance.

Ashton will save Zachary if his relationship points with Zachary are higher than his points with Isabella or Rebecca. I recommend killing off one of the other two to make this easier.

It is impossible to earn Zachary/Rebecca points when Isabella is alive. Instead, this epilogue is unlocked automatically when Isabella is alive. This is the easiest way to get it.

Because it is impossible to gain Zachary/Rebecca points while Isabella is alive, no Zachary/Rebecca points are needed.

Romantic relationships do not matter -- Ashton can be dating Isabella, Rebecca, or neither.

There are several choices that will cause you to gain points with one character while losing points with another, so watch out for those. In particular, there is one choice in Ashton's chapter that will earn a lot of points with either Isabella or Rebecca, but lose a lot of points with the other. There is no way to avoid this choice, so make sure you have both of their points as high as possible before you get there.
