PLAY THE TUTORIAL.

every good player knows a secret or two. so here is a secret.

1. on the harbour, go on top of the two cranes (the very top) and press the two switches.
therewill be a big [Fish!] that pops up. it goes down after a few seconds, so get a screenshot while you can!

there are six main weapons. sword, shield, bow, shotgun, rifle, and sniper.

the sword is explained in the tutorial, so i wont go into much detail. it functions as expected.

the shield is very good, but requires some skill. it attacks at a short range with left click, blocks and reflects attacks with right click, and can be thrown with R. when it is thrown, if it hits a group of enemies at a good angle near the back of where they are going (very tricky!) it hits all of them, potentially killing all of them. it also has a possibility to return to you.

the bow is the "easy to use, hard to master" weapon of the game. you need to equip the "quiver" in your gadget menu to have ammo for the bow. hold right click to draw, left click to fire. if you miss your arrow, you can pick it up.

the rifle is simple to use and simple to master. right click to aim, left click to fire. note that you don't have to aim to fire, unlike the bow, but aiming increases your accuracy. you can equip "machine gun ammo" in the gadgets to have more ammo.

the shotgun is an easy to use close-range gun. you cannot aim with right click, but you can fire with left click. you can equip "shotgun shells" to get more ammo.

the sniper as a long range weapon. you do not have to aim to fire, but it is subtly hinted that you should. aim by holding right click, and press Q and E to zoom in/ zoom out. left click to fire. you can equip "sniper ammo" to have more ammo.

so you know about main weapons, now for gadgets!

the black hole sucks in enemies but could also suck in you, so be careful!

the coma dart is a dart that can insta kill enemies. good for ninja mode.

the head kill is a placable trap that kills enemies when they get too close. does not hurt you.

the spinning death, will home in on enemies when thrown, killing them

clean is a tool to get rid of blood stains, avoiding detection. also good for ninja mode.

throwing stars are your typical shuriken.

the sticky lightning is a trap that is silent, but is manualy activated with right click

vision goggles just highlight enemies.

pistol ammo is used for the pistol, as extra ammo.

the drone can be used to spot enemies, or help you see enemy patterns.

the gas grenade spews out toxic gas, killing anyone in it.

the gas mask prevents you from dying in your gas grenades.

the hook is a grappling hook.

the destruction disk is a mine that kills enemies and launches them in the air.

the death crab is like a homing bomb, exploding on it's target.

the pistol is a silenced pistol that is aimed with right click, and shot with left click.

the impact grenade is a bomb that can hurt you. hold left click to throw it further.

the exo-knife allows you to sneak up behind enemies and silently kill them.

the boomerang, when thrown, flys forward, damaging enemies until it returns to you. (it can get stuck in walls, so when that happens, pick it back up.)

the IDS will cloak the user for 10 seconds (10 second cooldown). doesn't work on enemies who are cautious or are detecting you.

the freezer works like the impact grenade, but freezes the enemies in ice for 30 seconds.
