Guide
Follow these simple steps.

1. Download ReShade 3.0.7 from their official website.[www.reshade.me]

2. Run the installer and when it says select game, choose ..\Steam\steamapps\common\Citadel\Citadel\Binaries\Win64\Citadel-Win64-Shipping.exe. Once you have selected the .exe remember to check the DirectX10+ option.

3. When it asks you to install the shaders, click Yes then select only Adaptive Sharpen, Clarity and HDR. I'm sure you can download others if you wish to but I haven't tried it so I can't recommend any.

4. Once the install is complete you start up the game by running the same execute you selected earlier(Citadel-Win64-Shipping.exe). This is a one time deal only so later on you can just start it up from Steam like you normally do. This step isn't always necessary. It depends on the game.

5. Once the game starts up you should see a box appear in the top left corner saying "bla bla Reshade 3.0". That means that it worked.

6. Once you're either in the main menu or ingame you press Shift+F2 to get the ReShade menu to open. When that's done you just follow the easy tutorial which shouldn't take more than a few seconds.

7. When the tutorial is complete you can mess around with the settings, select which shaders work best for you, or just delete it if you're unhappy with the final result. The only change I made was to turn ClarityStrength down a little.
Notes
Use ReShade at your own risk.

ReShade does not alter any of the game's files so there should't be any risk of getting banned. I've been using it for years on plenty of games and I've never had a problem. That is my experience though, your results may differ.

I haven't experienced any fps changes since I started using ReShade for Black and Light.

This guide also works for most games. I use the same recipe for Dark and Light, Battlegrounds, Arma 3, Rising Storm 2 and Fallout 4 just to name a few that it works on.

I usually provide a section containing screenshots that show off the results, but uploading to Steam and adding them here is a hassle, so I won't do it. Just Google "ReShade game effects" and you'll see the difference.

Adaptive Sharpen, Clarity and HDR seem to no longer exist. I looked at every set of files and saw nothing.

it works, rtss custom 3d support was interfering. NOw can use 3.08 without problem just can't enable fps counter or time on reshade, otherwise is generating an unwanted bloom effect
