So, grab any image you want for the face or the decal. Just as long as it's square. Make sure the image is 256x256 when you edit it. Just use any photo editing software (don't go for paint you pleb) like photoshop, or in my case, get used to pixlr.com/editor . Pixlr is like photoshop but free and is good for transparency.

This will not be a tutorial for pixlr, this for making custom images and making them work. But, there is one more thing you need to know. DO NOT STRETCH IT TO 256 BY 256. Have a transparent background, and make it only fill up maybe 250 pixels or so unless it has transparent edges. If you do 256x256 exactly, part of your image will be cropped off if there are no transparent edges (for faces, at least in my expirence)

So, now you've got them all together, and formated as 256x256 pixels, and PNG format, make a new dummy folder, one for faces, one for decals. do not combine faces and decals in one dummy folder. put the photos in the dummy folder, and inside the folder, make a new folder called "thumbs". Paste the images you put in the dummy folder inside the thumb folder, and make sure they are named the same and do not contain conventional spaces in the file name. ( - or _ signs work fine).

After all of that is done, it's time to grab yourself winrar or 7zip off of the internet if you haven't. Make a zip file, for faces, name it Face_Insertnamehere (Capitilization is important), and for decals, name it Decal_Insertnamehere ( - signs will not work for the addon names, only for the file names of the images.) After that, just paste everything from inside the dummy folder into the zip file, faces with faces, decals with decals.

After that, just plop that new zip folder you created into your blockland's addons folder (by right clicking it on steam and clicking properties, and then clicking browse local files.)

Just open blockland (duh) and check your player options to see if it worked. If it did, it should look something like these examples:
