Aim
This guide aims to solve crashes (at least temporarily and partially) while keeping savegames and allowing continued play.
Introduction
Since buying this game a few days ago, I've been getting crashes after 2 hours of play and read about a lot of complaints, in some cases people uninstall and reinstall the game to no avail, send crash reports that seem to be of no aid, lose savegames with many hours of play, etc.

From what I read, the Devs did reply on occasion, and most times, the files they mentioned weren't where they were supposed to be at. In my case, they were missing from where the Devs pointed to as well. So I dug around and found them, along with a fix I thought I'd share and hopefully it helps others like it helps me.
The Fix
The missing files in question can be found over here on Windows 10, should be similar for 7 and 8:

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\DeathwatchGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

The fix will consist of the following steps:

Copy the "WindowsNoEditor" folder as is to the previous folder and rename it to "WindowsNoEditorBackup" for safety.

Next, copy everything in the "CleanSourceConfigs" folder into "WindowsNoEditor" and replace it all.

After this the game should work fine again, savegame intact, just reapply your ingame display settings.
Note to Any Dev Reading This
If it's possible, an update including a sound and music volume sliders, particularly for main menu music, would be greatly appreciated.
