UK Whateley and surrounding area

Beskrivelse
Whateley, UK and surrounding area is a made up map of some imaginary place in the UK. I did start attempting a map of Northampton but became bored and continued as is. There is a reservois to the North that provides ample water. I added ore and oil deposits. There is plenty of arable land and woods. I left areas ripe for development. I used the following mods when making this map: Limited outside Connections, More network stuff, Fine road tool 1.3.1, Network extensions, Unlimited trees mod, UK roads, Sharp Junction angles, Extra landscaping tools, no pillars, any road outisde connection. The map has been fully play tested and works well.

Arrived here searching for maps of Northampton. Looks like I am not the only CS player here!

I have previously made some of the waterways in Northampton using the Rivers networks mod - obviously, this is just on a random map during the game, and using it as an "inspired by Northampton" mainly the river + canal past Carlsberg and into town.

Finishing the ring road would certainly be a wise move - maybe also let IKEA setup a business in the town too!

Sadly the map design tools don't allow for detailed and intricate water way designs, hence why I gave up making the map of Northampton. But, I do understand that a map of Northamnpton would have been nice. I haven't played this game in some time, but if I can get my motivation back I will attempt that map; I live here too. Just think though, the traffic would be a nightmare just like in real life.

It would have been interesting to see how players completed the much needed ring road for Northampton... I'd be happy to play a Northampton map.
