Finding all the shards for the glass door in the chapter A Long Walk can be a tedious business. This guide aims at facilitating the acquisition of all shards. To that purpose there are two sections:

• A map indicating the location of all shards. This map is supposed to only narrow down the scope of your search. You will still need to figure out where each shard actually is.
  
• A precise guide of how to get each shard. This will obviously spoil the entire tediousness fun.

For completeness sake, the following contains lots of SPOILERS. ;)

And finally, feel free to comment if you find parts of this guide incorrect or incomplete.

The following map indicates the location of each and every shard in the valley. Good luck finding the ones you haven't gotten yet.

Here is a screenshot of the completely empty glass door. I've added numbers for reference purposes:

This is probably the hardest shard to find. It is located on the first floor of the house that is just east of the bridge that leads from the forest area to the direction of the huge water puzzle area:

To get to the first floor you need to jump on the ruin parts in the north west of the house:


The easiest way I found to get up to the first floor is by standing north of the house facing north towards the white 'column'. You can easily jump up there.


Once you're on the first floor, the shard is easy to find in the north-east corner on a table.

This shard is rewarded after solving the lights puzzle in the forest pond. Simply interact with all 10 lights positioned in and around the pond and then add them to the stone table on the small island. All lights are clearly visibile from the small island in the pond except for one light in the water behind the wall on the west side of the small island.

This shard is rewarded after solving the puzzle with the light stands close to the glass door.


There are eight extinguished lights. To light them all interact with any position first and then interact with the following light positions (to the right or to the left)

1 1 1 1 1 1 1 (now only two lights next to each other should be lit)

This shard can be retrieved on the east side of the large river that borders the valley in the west.

This shard can be found on the first floor of the ruins with the huge tree in the south.

This shard is rewarded for solving the moon puzzle. Simply grab the sphere laying right next to the altar and place it on the altar while it is night time.

This shard is hidden behind the waterfall just below the place where you can find the complete map:


From the above perspective you can cross the river on some trees and make your way through the waterfall to the end of the path.

To get this shard you need to solve the water puzzle by moving four units of water to the rear basin.


Use these steps when all water is in the rear basin to fill the rear basin with only four units:

For this shard you need to find the run down hut in the south-west of the forest.

This shard is laying in one of the stands in the south-east of the market.

To get this shard you have to solve the light pillars puzzle in the south of the forest. Simply turn the upper halfs of the pillars until the patterns match.

This shard is located beneath the huge tree that is in the center of the valley map. If you are standing north of the market facing towards the huge tree above in the north, you can see a path leading up to the right side of the tree.


Follow this path all the way up to the end and you will find a chest with the shard.

This shard can be found in a chest on the first floor of a house just south-east of the market. To get to the first floor you need to grow some vines.

Shard #14 is hidden in a chest in the water passage below the ruined house with the huge tree in the south. You can enter the passage on either side and will easily find the chest on the south side of that passage.

This shard is located in the basement of the house that held shard #01 in the first floor. The entrance to the basement is on the south side of the house.

This shard is located in a hut underneath the lost tree houses on the way to the scales puzzle area.

To get to that side of the river, you need to find the lever to operate the lift first.

This shard is located in a hidden passage that connects the furnace just below the glass door with the lower and the upper part of the huge water puzzle area in the east of the valley. You can access the passage from the furnace or, alternatively, via an aquaeduct.

Coming from the furnace you need to grow some vines to safely cross a bridge and turn left to get the shard.

This shard is located on a roof part of the huge ruins north east of the market. You need to grow some vines to reach it.
