Colors your map markers!
- Compatible with Skyrim 1.8 and up

This mod colors your map markers, and colors the markers on your compass too. Places you haven't found yet are black (like normal)

Updates will be released as needed
Alternate versions of this mod are now avaliable on the Skyrim Nexus site. CLICK HERE[skyrim.nexusmods.com] to check them out!

CLICK HERE and go to the other version if you want this mod to be compatible with SkyUI

Notes:
This file shouldn't interfere with most map mods.
Only mods that edit "map.swf" in the [...\skyrim\data\interface] folder, and "hudmenu.gfx" in the [...\skyrim\data\interface\exported] folder will be affected. If that's the case, just install those mods first - then install this mod second and overwrite any files.

Incompatibilty with SkyUI is a killer for me, as I don't want to miss the search function. I gather that cannot be fixed?

This mod is not compatible with SkyUI. If you load it after SkyUI, AkyUI will give a warning about incompatible map.swf, and you will not have search functionality of SkyUI. All the rest of SkyUI's features will work, and you'll still have colours. On the other jand, if Coloured Map is loaded befor SkyUI, the latter will silently overwrite map.swf and the efefct will be the same as having the Colour Map mode disabled.

noob here, sorry! i dont understand the NOTES part... do i take those 2 files and put them away while i install EZE mod, then copy them back in their folder, prior to launching SKSE where i have EZE mod waiting?

is this only for skyrim SE because i have the basic version and EzE doesnt work... although i have the compass bar in colours but not my fullview map icons (because default white icons are terrible to notice in the snow areas or with damn map fog LOL) i have SKSE and skyUI v5.1
