Sooo, if I have both BNW and G&K, which should I use?

There's a beta attached to the bottom of the first post of this thread [forums.civfanatics.com] which includes whoward69's "UI - Improved City Banner" (which is a beautiful rip-off of hambil's "City Banner Plus"); so you can get the best of both worlds. It should also fix the issue with overlapping icons, and is compatible with vanilla or the expansions. Haven't gotten any feedback yet, so I haven't released it on Steam.

Hy i like your idea, i use City Banner Plus and it dont funktion with your programm. If yuu make the Buildertroopssign somewhere left and settlerssign somewhere right or inverse, then it is to see if there are More Troops same place.

MrShides: It is standalone! Single Unit Graphics isn't required.

You should do this standalone I like the little armies of guys normally but hate the giant icons...
