Board By Board (House Builder)

This mod was designed to allow the players to create their own houses. You DO NOT need Hearthfire to use this mod.

YOU DO NOT CREATE A PREDETERMINED HOUSE. Everything is made board by board, stone by stone. Place windows where you want, place doors where you want, place the house, where you want.

(If you create a house with it, contact me with a screenshot and I will display it on the mod page)

Resources as of right now are bought from an NPC IN FRONT OF WHITERUN BLACKSMITH.

I will be adding more and more furniture and ways to gather resources as the mod is updated.

As of right now you can place in your house:
- Common Beds
- Common Chests
- Drawers(Container)
- Floor/Ceiling/Table Horn Candles
- Home Rug (Allows you to place a Map Marker for your home)
- Blacksmith Forges
- Alchemy Labs
- Arcane Enchanters
- Smelters
- Tanning Racks
- Grindstones
- Workbenches
- Many Shelves
- Many Tables

You are able to use this house builder anywhere in the world, not at predetermined lots. At this time I do not have a way to hook it up to your marriages and children.

When building you will use tools to manipulate your resources after you place them.

The tools are as follows:


Axe

For now this tool is used to retrieve a material from the world or attempt to cut it down to smaller pieces, which can also be retrieved.

(Until an update this will also be how you break down stone, whether it makes sense or not)


Hammer(Structure)

This tool is used for building onto a material already present in the world. By striking that material you will attempt to build another object off of it.

On equip you will be given the option to build via positional movement or rotation. If you select movement you are given the option to adjust the variables for how far the object moves. The horizontal variable is by default the width of the object and the vertical variable is the height/length.

To begin using the tool simply strike a material placed in the world.

You will be given the option to build horizontally or vertically.

Building horizontally attempts to build a copy of the object hit in the direction you are facing off of the original object.

Building vertically does the same but gives you another selection of whether to build up or down.


Hammer(Tune)

This tool is used for moving a material placed in the world. It works identical to the Structure Hammer but does not attempt to create a new object.


Hammer(Spinner)

This tool spins the object that you hit, it allows you to reorient Doors and Furniture and break up repeating textures on resource objects.


Hammer(Sync)

This tool is used to sync an object to another objects coordinates.

It is used by first hitting the object you wish to sync and then the object you wish to sync to.

After this has been done markers will be placed at the locations you can sync to.

The markers are located at the x,y and z coordinates of the object you are wishing to sync to. This way you are able to align two objects.


Hammer(Roofer)

This tool is used to create a dynamic straw roof.

*IMPORTANT*

To use this tool you must hit the four corners of a room. The order in which you must hit them is clockwise starting with the left front corner when you are facing north.

*IMPORTANT*

For example:
If you want to build a dynamic straw roof, look north. The corner piece that is on the left side of the room and facing you is the piece you start with and then proceed around in the clockwise fashion.

*IMPORTANT*

All corners must be aligned so it makes some kind of rectangle/square and all corners must be level.

Furniture Selector/Mover Spells

The Selector Spell is used by hitting an object you wish to move with player movement/camera movement then you move around and when the object is in the desired position you hit it again with the same spell, or if the object is in a position that doesn't allow you to hit it with the same spell you can use the Stopper spell which doesn't need to be aimed.
