2nd room - luckily I had learned the strafe jump and was able to get to the cube on top grating.
3rd room - this is where I really got stuck - in the final little Exit room and the need to get the cube in there.. I saw the symbols on the Floor - but they ONLY appeared on the floor !! AArrgghh - why ?? A Red Herring ?? Apparently so because they were not shown anywhere else as they are supposed to be. As I worked and worked on the ending . . . I had stepped on the Exit Door actuator button many times. I heard the Door opening but It never occurred to me that another sound was there (a flipping panel). It also never occurred to me to friggin' LOOK UP !!!! Finally after 2 wasted days - I looked up and saw that the panel had flipped. Great map !! Kudos !!
my bad.
thankyou :)
as for mine being hard ?
the lates map is a demonstration / how to torture turrets / fun / revenge.
not a puzzle.
please watch the 2 video's, (not spoilers)
which will help you get the most out of this map, before playing.
1 did not seem to play. but the links are in the description.
have fun
About the exit area, if I've understood what you say I should just mention that you can go outside the little room onto the lift (piston) and use the transport beam to place the cube on white tiles opposite. The fizzler doesn't matter as you can make new portals through the grating from inside. Does that make sense?
