Description
This mod replaces the human independents with independents suitable for the Firepower mod. They are cowboys, pretty much.

Costs have not been adjusted, so I'd use a mod that disables the recruitment of them for the AI. There's nothing really crazy in my testing so you should be fine to leave it on if you want though.

I cobbled them together from Sturm's spritepack as well as some assets I found in the original Firepower mod files, full credit goes to both of them and I can take this down if they request.

A list of units replaced can be found in the change notes.


This makes expansion a bit harder I've found, since the enemy will now also have rifles and guns.

that one just inmediatly loaded so clearly there has to be some kind of word in that post that must have triggered like automod or something

as someone who really likes firepower, i am in love with this mod, thank you very much for making it!

i do wish to poke your head on something, and that it been a whole year since the mod was originally updated, do you have any thoughts/ideas on perhaps grabbing the mod and keeping it updated?

When I enable it it shows 2 errors:
"File 'FPindies/grey_jacket_idle.png' not found"
And the same but with attack instead of idle.
