pretty average game with cute design, a bit tedious and rng dependent to get achievements but for one-time playthrough, its well worth the time and money.

I'm not exaggerating when I say I had to ENDURE through this game.
The gameplay itself is extremely tedious, repetitive and frankly boring.

But after really reading through the story and finishing the game, I think devs probably wanted the gameplay to be repetitive and tedious on purpose for the story to feel genuine.

I say this because as I was playing this game, at first learning new skills and achieving stuff and buying upgrade is somewhat fun. However, after you upgrade majority of the stuff and you are making the same things over and over again, you lose purpose and any mental satisfaction, and this is eerily similar to working a real-life low skill job when you are in your early adulthood.

Here's why I think this game is amazing despite the fact that the gameplay itself as mentioned before, is extremely boring. The story feels too real, hits very close to home. If you are an only child, a girl from a broken family living with their grandparents instead of their parents, this is almost a carbon copy of what happens to you as you are growing up. Even after you have become an adult, you have no community around you, you have no friends, no supportive family, coworkers are often unhelpful, and your employers will treat you like an object of sex and demean you at every chance they get. Though you get some good apples here and there, the gist is that majority of the time you are nothing to the world hence the mistreatment.

It is really nice that the main character Pixel, got to have the life she had dreamed of and reconciled with her family although reality would be much more bleak; it is a nice feel-good moment to sum of the game nonetheless.

Honestly I'd rather buy this game for $50+ than pay outrageous amount for lootcrates. Wish the furnitures weren't paywalled so heavily. Still a great game though.

After post-nut clarity, I can't help but have few sentiments.

The puzzle is easy enough a quadriplegic with mental impairment can clear it so not much hardships there.
But why's the girl's faces so different when they claim they're the same person? I mean more girls for the $ so can't complain ig.

Don't bother reading the dialogue the pronouns are so wonky so it's impossible to tell who's talking about what.
Also I don't feel quite comfortable downloading the extra DLC from a shady Chinese website to get the full experience but I had a good session so I can't complain about that either ig.

Overall for the price, not bad at all.
