This game has a decent amount of complexity, and the input timings are tight enough to present a challenge. At the same time, it's not so front-loaded that it's hard for newcomers. This is my first traditional fighting game as a Tenkaichi 3 boy. Xenoverse and Sparking Zero don't tickle me, but FighterZ avoids the sense of shallowness that comes from Xenoverse's lack of major variation, and Sparking Zero's balancing being clearly rushed out a year early.
