the game has a long way to go before it can be compared to the likes of valheim, but it is in early access, its also charming in a runescape kinda way, hopefully it stays faithful to source, it might be worth your money if you play with friends, could be worth 30 if you like survival, if it goes on sale definitely pick it up. so glad they didnt try to release this at 60 bucks or something, else this would be a very different review

love monster hunter, used to play nearly every day on xbox, this is a good game. that being said it not worth 70 dollars, i beat low rank in maybe 12 hours, and half that was messing around and admittedly good cutscenes. high rank also doesnt have much of a story, basically ends at HR 40 and then its just optionals and whatnot. you can turn it into a 70 dollar game if you care to do every little thing, i currently am, but i understand not wating to. something else to note is that its not very optimized and half my friends cant play it. i have a great appreciation for how good the game looks but i would rather it be more widely accessible. this game will also be worked on alot over the next couple years while they work on master rank and monsters so expect it to become worth 70 dollars even if it isnt right now. also im just not gonna mention the clunky multiplayer, capcom moment. good game if this ever goes on sale its a must buy

The game is great, this is loads of new content, while it is at a high price, I so far have gotten my money's worth, it is rather difficult but even with a new level 90 character(all my PC characters were on seamless coop) I have beaten several of the harder bosses. I've seen and heard a lot of complaints about difficulty and attribute that to players that are new to fromsoft games, or perhaps their first souls like was elden ring. I'm not particularly a fan of the scaling system, it feels very derivative of sekiro, but it's my only real complaint, and they aren't very hard to find. In conclusion get good scrub review bombers.
