The sheer amount of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mechanics in this is absolutely insane. nioh 1 is rough but you always felt gear or just playing good could get you through. this just sends wave after wave of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ at you, without really ramping you up to it.

this game is a lot more dark souls than path of exile. weird decisions never feel fair to the player and you never quite have the tools to fight enemies that even when they are trash way overdamage and have health way above what you would think. be very careful before purchasing into the early access and wait to see if by launch they can fix what is a massive uphill battle.

edit after multiple patches: still really rough though it has some of it smoothed, ednagme is just a utter mess and not remotely fun or rewarding and they still stick to their guns over things for no other reason other than "our vision"

edit for 0.3: getting better the new trade system is a great move and act 4 and interludes is a lot better than cruel, endgame is still godawful, but the skill restiction removal and the lineage gems is a big ste up

it will destroy any and all aspects of your social and work life. with the league more so. deffo recommend
