I get why people like it less than the other Mafia games, as it's very dissimilar. It's more of a Grand Theft Auto than anything else.
The mission are repetitive indeed, and the enemy NPC's are basically walking practice dummies, but it is what it is - 50+ hours of casual fun.
Loved the setting, rarely have I seen a city so well reproduced. The story itself, the diverse cast of side characters and backgrounds, and the music, were all excellent.
I loved it, might not be everyone's cup of tea but I've enjoyed it just as much as I've enjoyed GTA games back in the day.

Excellent game.
Whilst there's tons of WW2 games, I feel like we're severely lacking in WW1 games so I had to give it a full go.
Played it on the PS4 back in the day, but I can't play shooters on controllers to save my life; couldn't help but buy it again on PC to finish it.
Might even hop into online if I ever find the time, and even if the Campaign is short, 6h for the price that it's at right now is a bargain.
