A flying squirrel costs 1,009 euros, a hedgehog 101 euros, a frog and a lizard 17 euros. “If you accidentally run over a frog with your car, you will not be fined. There must be evidence of intent, which the lower court will decide,” says Environmental Counsellor Esko Hyvärinen from the Ministry of the Environment.
