I've played this game twice with my best friend. It's amazing. I love the different gameplay styles weaved within a pretty okay story. The story isn't all that groundbreaking but sets up a whimsical adventure that does eventually get you to care about the two main characters and their dilemma. I'm really looking forward to any future games this studio makes.

I wasn't expecting to play over 40 hours of a game where I play a lamb that recruits followers to what is basically a farming strategy roguelike. I love this game. It's cute presentation but dark subject matter is perfectly executed without much gameplay sacrifice, other than the actual sacrifices. 9/10

I've never played a hero shooter like this before. This game has consumed me. My friends tell me that I am changing. That I have crashed out and have lost it. As a strategist I singlehandley prevent my team from certain death. Comp matches have taken years off of my life. Every time a person instalocks DPS a demon gains its wings and a minute is taken off from my lifespan. 10/10 recommend.

At first, I thought, "Hmm, this seems like a pretty standard metroidvania." But then I unlocked the second ability, and wow—it completely changed how I saw the game. It let me interact with the world in a way that felt fresh and exciting. I was genuinely surprised at how clever the gadgets and abilities were. Unlocking each new one became a little event for me—I couldn’t wait to test it out and see all the creative ways it could be used.

It might sound funny, but the game’s focus on "in-the-box" puzzle-solving was actually super refreshing. There wasn’t always a shiny new ability waiting around the corner, and I had to really stop and think about how to progress. That extra bit of challenge made every success feel earned.

A few hours in, the game hit me with its first really creepy moment. The music and sound design made my hair stand on end in the best way possible. It’s this perfect mix of cute and creepy that you don’t see often. The immersion here is unreal—it draws you in like few games in the genre can.

Most metroidvanias try to leave their mark, but not all of them succeed. This one? It absolutely nails it. Whether you’re a die-hard fan of the genre or a newcomer, this is a game that deserves your time.

I've bought this game on my phone, on my Nintendo Switch, and now on my PC. I've played it through 4 digital mediums (xbox game pass). I never thought a deckbuilding roguelike would be my cup of tea but after a hesitancy to touch my backlog, this game captured me and hasn't let go.

The art direction and music of this game alone are worth the buy. The gameplay is fun and just when it feels like it might be getting a bit stale the game ends. The story is just a plus. I do wish there was better backtracking and chapter or save selects so I could go back and get any missed collectibles without having to replay the game in it's entirety again.
