Hilarious fun with friends / frenemies lol

Monster Hunter games of past were great fun with friends.... Monster Hunter World however seems to have forgotten how multiplayer works and has made it very difficult to enjoy this game with a friend(s) by making non-stop cut-scenes which you CAN NOT SKIP!...JFC, and until you see these cut-scenes, you cannot play with your friends...

So basically 90% of the time you spend playing by yourself.
would be nice to be able to play the ENTIRE game with your friends.
Could just wait for the cut-scenes to be finished being watched by each player or skipped by all players...like in almost every other game for decades now... they seem to have gone backward in this game.

Lets hope the up coming Monster Hunter allows you to actually play the game with friends. If not, I don't see myself playing it. I don't log into a "multiplayer" to run around solo the whole damn time.

UPDATE 4: OVER 300 HOURS LOGGED ! GAME STILL JANKY AF!! NOW FORCING PEOPLE TO HAVE A PLAY STATION NETWORK ACCOUNT TO PLAY. kind of a stupid move imo. also shady it happen months AFTER the game has blown up and become so popular....

UPDATE 3: 130 HOURS in to this game and it still is the buggiest game I've ever played,which sucks because it's insanely fun... except almost every match is full of complete BS.
Like the game still just randomly crashing on people.
The extract ship sometimes will not let you get on so you're forced to just wait out the 40 F***ing minutes! until the ship leaves without your team and you all FAIL to extract losing anything you picked up....all rare/super samples you wasted time looking for.
Hit boxes need A LOT of work. I can shoot something 5 feet in front of and miss 7 shots with a shotgun somehow while its calling in for backup, but as soon as it does so I can magically kill it all of a sudden....*eye roll*
The Extract Ship just straight up leaving after only 1 person gets on leaving everyone else to die hahahaha...
Gotta love missing with a weapon that has zero bullet drop and no recoil while laying prone with armor that reduces recoil even more by 30% and a mouse that drops the DPI to almost nothing with the touch of a button... still misses? WTF ?
Hahahah....good god. I can keep going but you get the picture. Love this game but JFC it needs help. Get off your ass DEVS!

UPDATE 2: Played for another 13 hours... Game crashes all the time. I was trying to find a pattern, but there is none, it just crashes randomly, sometimes in the middle of a fight, some times during the mission ending screen, sometimes right at the beginning. Sometimes it crashes multiple missions in a row, and sometimes I can go many missions without a problem at all. After spending so much time on a mission, its anxiety inducing to have to pray that the game doesn't crash so you didn't just waste a half an hour just to lose all progress and items. Helldivers 2 is crazy fun/funny, but until I can reliably play this game without having my anxiety spike at the end of every mission (assuming I even get that far before it crashes), I won't recommend it to anyone. If things Change I'll revisit this review at a later time.


EDIT: Literally 5 minutes after writing a positive review the game crashed multiple times....I cant seem to make it through just 1 mission without the game crashing. Would not recommend.


Helldivers 2 is super fun so far and super funny... it's like Starship Troopers, Halo, Terminator had a baby.

I love the co-op in this game, having a team that helps each-other and works together is a huge boon. My only gripe is that it randomly will crash sometimes even though I had a top of the line PC I built myself. Never had that issue before...however in the 9.3 hours I've played, so far it has only crashed 4 times...which isn't a total deal breaker. Hopefully this will get resolved in time. I'll still recommend this game.

Game is amazing. One of the only games in recent time that actually deserves the full price to been paid. So much replay value and fun. If only more games went this in depth.

extremely fun game, takes a huge learning curve though, but it's worth it in the long run. s0o much content for a free to play game and it doesn't penalize you for not spending money.

IF ASMR WAS A GAME. SO MUCH FUN AND SO CHILL. GOOD FOR ADULTS AND KIDS.
