Great game, but not friendly for new players in 2025. With so many added monsters and gear, it’s confusing to know what to farm or what weapons to use. Damage feels low, and you constantly rely on others to carry you. Everyone just says “go full Fatalis,” which kills the fun for newcomers. I regret buying it this late.

Guilty Gear Strive is hands down one of the best fighting games I’ve played. The character roster is packed with diverse playstyles, so there’s always something fresh to dig into, especially if you enjoy mastering different fighters. But for some weird reason, the player base feels surprisingly small, and I have no idea why!

Bottom line: if you’ve got a friend to play with or someone who’s down to buy the game with you, don’t even hesitate—just go for it! 👍
