This game is a must for any South Park fan. It feels just like the show thanks to its visuals, and it has plenty of funny moments.

The combat is pretty fun, but it's also too easy. Even on higher difficulties I'm able to storm through fights without any thought. This was disappointing because the tile-based RPG battles are great, and I'm constantly wanting more battles! Speaking of the RPG elements, there are no random encounters, and there's a finite amount of battles you can do before progressing the story. In combination with the "level" system this game has (you level up but it doesn't boost attributes or anything), you're basically never under-powered.

Navigating South Park feels like a chore as you're constantly going from one edge of the map to another. There are some fast travel points, but they're just too few and far between. I think this game fits its target audience pretty well because the lower difficulty and humor make it a relaxing and easy-going game. If you can find this for a deep discount, I definitely recommend.

One of the BEST games I've ever played. The progression system is fantastic, there's tons of bosses and events, tons of blocks, furniture, etc. I played this game for over 1,000 hours on my PS4, a couple hundred on my Macbook, and now 127 on my PC. The developers love their game, and listen to the fans. If you haven't bought this game yet, what are you waiting for???

I'm a huge Dragon Ball fan, and when this game was first teased, I KNEW I had to get it. The visuals looked amazing, the gameplay looked exciting, and it really seemed like a dream come true. After spending some time playing, I don't think this is the "definitive" Dragon Ball game anymore.

For starters, people have been preaching things like, "This game captures the anime 1 for 1!" and I hate to admit it, but it's true. Sitting in one place charging your Ki until it's full, then using raw supers is a very popular strategy online. It's also one of the ONLY things you can do in order to clear the special win conditions in Episode battle. This is so boring! The rush chain "combos" are virtually the same between all characters on the cast. I put combos in parenthesis because there are NO true combos in this game (Okay there are some, but they're cheesy). Everything can be super countered, z-countered, revenge countered, perceptioned, super perceptioned, Sonic Swayed, etc, etc.... This game has so many defensive options without enough offensive options. This helps promote the camping cheesy playstyle. And sure, super-counters have a four frame window, but I hate having something like that as a gameplay mechanic.

The visuals in this game are great. All the character models are fantastic, and the Auras and Ki outlines in Sparking Mode look really cool. I am pretty disappointed by most of the animations though. The rush chains look fine, no complaint there, but the Supers and Ultimates... After Fighterz and DB Legends for Mobile, I was really excited for some great attack animations to match the rest of the visuals. I was beyond disappointed to see short animations with extremely weak and lackluster impacts. This is supposed to be Budokai 4!!!! What happened to the epic cutscenes? If you haven't seen them, look up the ultimate attacks from Budokai 3. They were truly amazing! This game makes the Ultimates really short and rushed, depriving them of their significance. DB Legends added "Legendary Finishes" for certain characters, adding an additional victory cutscene if you can defeat you enemy with your characters Ultimate Attack. Why is this not here for the important characters?!? I think three forms of Goku get victory screens, and that's kind of a step in the right direction.

This game is missing tons of Dragon Ball content, and it's frankly surprising more wasn't included in the base game. Where is the Hell stage? What about the Ice Continent? Or even SPACE? These are ICONIC locations that are missing, and we'll probably have to buy them in a future DLC. There is also a ton of missing character customization. Why can't I put the halo on any character? Where is End-of-Z Goku's gi? Again, more money they can siphon from us.

The UI (User interface) is really annoying. How many games can you think of that require you to HOLD your action button to do something? Having to hold X to start a match, hold B to back out of menus. How annoying! And it's really inconsistent too! Some areas of the game, you don't have to hold any buttons to navigate the menus. Speaking of buttons, you are very restricted on how you can customize your controls. Would you like to use the d-pad instead of the joystick for moving? Okay, that can only be done on Classic controls, not Standard. So great, if you wanna use the d-pad, you have to change all your controls with it. So stupid!

The quality control could also use some work. The characters faces are really stiff and emotionless when talking. Not to mention how some characters eyes stay open after being defeated... it's creepy.

Overall, I cannot recommend this game to anyone. Some people seem to enjoy it, but I stopped playing because I don't think it's as good as everyone else does. It feels so rushed and unfinished, like the dedicated all their time to the visuals and put the gameplay to the side.

The game is fun, with tons of weapons, attachments, camo grinds, maps, etc. MW3 is here to stay, even after the release of BO6.
