Václav Laurin (September 27, 1865 Kamení[1] u Pěnčín – December 3, 1930 Prague)[2] was a Czech engineer, designer, businessman and industrialist. He trained as a locksmith in Mladá Boleslav, where in 1895 together with Václav Klement they founded the company Laurin & Klement (today Škoda Auto).
