I honestly hate going against Wraith in DBD because it’s just so damn boring. He’s invisible like 90% of the time, so there’s no tension, no buildup—just random hits out of nowhere. One second you’re working on a gen or walking through a tile, and the next you’re getting smacked by some cloaked dude who made zero noise and gave no warning. It’s not scary, it’s not fun, it’s just annoying.

There’s barely any counterplay. You can’t really loop him while he’s cloaked, you can’t prepare for a chase, and half the time you’re just spinning your camera or listening for his bone-chime like a paranoid mess. And even if you do hear it? Too late. He’s already uncloaking behind you.

It sucks all the excitement out of the game. Playing survivor is supposed to be tense and skill-based—mind games, chases, outplays—but with Wraith, it’s just, “hope you didn’t get surprised.” There’s no interaction. It’s like playing against someone who doesn’t exist until they decide to attack, and by then it’s too late to do anything. It feels cheap, not earned.

Like imagine if survivors could go totally invisible until they decided to pop a gen. That’d be busted and not fun, right? Same thing. Wraith just turns the whole match into a waiting game with jump scares, and it gets old fast.
