It's not a "game", so i cannot recommend it... :)
The hope to get some new banana type is a bit addictive though, and gameplay is not time-consuming at all {no need to do anything, even clicking is not mandatory}.
Some of the early {pretty common} banana skins that don't drop anymore, were pretty expensive. That was good. Until the developer decided to add Exchange system... When you give 10 {or more} less rare bananas and get 1 more rare banana. However now you have an opportunity to get rid off the cheapest banana types {and get slightly less common banana type for that}.
Simple sounds and music, simple but good-looking interface.
Some bugs occur, despite the "game" being so simple. Some patches happen from time to time {with new banana skins updating}. There are lots of banana skins which players made in the Workshop by themselves {and the dev has added them in this "game"}, that's why there is quite a diversity in banana skins.

It wasn't an easy decision about whether i should recommend this game or not...
I decided to recommend it, but only because/when it's free. There probably will be a 1-day giveaway again in 10th of September of the next year.

Game took 1.5 hours from me with all its achievements. And 2.5 playthroughs. Game can be beaten much quicker, and all 5 achievements can be unlocked in 1 playthrough. But I wasn't in a rush, i read everything carefully, tried to empathize to story, tried different dialog options, searched for hidden achievement, etc :)

Story/plot is great. Sad - yes. But not too dark. Something more like "bitter-sweet". At the end I really felt strong emotions... The game itself consoles you at the end, so you feel a bit better after all.
Choosing different dialog options doesn't really have much influence on the game process tbh {i experimented during my 2nd playthrough :) }, but on my 1st playthrough i chose the answers closer to how i really felt, i think it helps to immerse in the story better.
There are even a couple of little jokes in this game from main character. Especially when you choose not very logical option as your answer :)
Main character {bunny-looked AI called A-Eye} is lovely, he is learning from the information he received from what he saw in our world. So he is like toddler but this does not prevent him from raising some philosophical questions and coming to some logical conclusions. It was interesting to read.

Yeah, reading the story is a main aspect of this game {so some players might find it boring, the game is pretty short though}. However, i think i can say that the arcade-type minigames here are good too. And short. Some of them are simple, some of them are "medium" difficulty in my opinion.
When you meet with A-Eye, he gives you an option to choose difficulty: 2 lives per each level or more lives { "more" = 3 lives :) }. I'd suggest to pick "2 lives" to make the game more challenging and because of one of the achievements.

I think the key why minigames here look interesting - is nice graphics. Yes, it is simple and pixelated {i don't like pixelated games in 21st century :) }, but good.

Music is nice. Several musical compositions, and that's a plus for such a short game.
Sounds are ok.

Controls are ok. You mostly use only your mouse {game's requiring cursor and any 1 button, and "F4" button for switching to fullscreen mode}.

The main reason I was a little hesitant to recommend this game or not was because of some bugs. There are minor ones - like for example you can miss some dialog lines from A-Eye, because you clicked on something {so skipped a line by accident}. Most of the times the parts when you play minigame and the parts when you read the A-Eye story are divided from each other, but not always, especially in 1-2 moments towards the end of the game.
And one bug is pretty inconvenient {although can be bypassed}, because this bug concerns the achievements. In more detail: it concerns unlocking a secret achievement. You should lower the resolution of your screen before getting this achievement to let's say 1280x720, otherwise your computer can crash and only rebooting will help you in that case. I have experienced this issue too {and "bypassed" this bug by this method}. If anyone needs more direct tip about that hidden achievement, then i can say that it's related to switching to fullscreen mode by using "F4" button.

In total: I'd recommend to grab this game when it's given away or with discount. It has good interesting {more sad} plot and not bad pixelated graphics. But imho "PressAnyButton" needs a bit of polishing/update.

It's ok game to kill some time while finding cats as hidden objects game. I don't think i'd buy it if it wouldn't be free, but it's definitely ok while it's free :)

The last ~10 cats were hidden well imho. I like it. Don't like when it's obvious as in some other games of such genre. The game has one nice feature: the whole picture {=screen} with cats is divided into several areas {and they are not straight rectangles}, that get coloured when you find all cats hidden in that area.
The picture is nice-drawn, all drawn cats are definitely seem like cats.
The game has {at least one} easter egg {click on the birthday cone of the horse}, it relates with one of the Steam achievements, i found it {without any guides} by clicking on some interesting objects on the screen.
It's not necessary to have DLC to unlock all 17 achievements of this game.

Music is ok: 2 different soundtracks, not the best i've heard, but kinda relaxing, so it's ok for the 35 minutes of gameplay.
I can't say that sounds of cats {when you click on them} are cute, but it's ok, nothing special.
Simple in-game menu, a bit clunky {my PC cursor is mixed with in-game cursor until i click on something; my screen becomes inactive after i clicked on "DLC" button and then closed the pop-up window until i click somewhere else}, but nothing critical.

In total: You can play it while it is free game :) It's ok game to find some cats

I chose to "recommend" it because this game is free, and has several quite good puzzles.

For now I played 4 chapters out of 20 and I like 1 {1st chapter} and dislike 3 {chapter2, chapter3 and chapter4}.

Graphics is nice. I can't say it looks "too cheap" like I say about other games {e.g. some ArtifexMundi games} sometimes.

Sounds are good.
Music is ok - seems like there are only 2-3 soundtracks here {calm - for the most of playthrough, and a bit "living" - for the moments when you found some new item}. Overall quite ambient and not annoying. At least for now.

Controls - you use only the left button of your mouse.

I'd say there is no plot here. All you see is a short text before the chapter, which says that you woke up in such and such a place {fairytale or ordinary}, and you don’t understand how you got here, but you want to get out. And so before each chapter. At least for now. And it's kinda good I suppose: I don't usually like HoG games where the developers tried to put some dumb and/or cheap-made plot.
Texts seem acceptable. I played this game in English.

Chapters are not connected to each other.

What surprised me about this game was no training, no highlighting of places where you can click, etc. You just find yourself in some room and you are on your own. As it turned out, the game is still, of course, linear, but it’s not always obvious where to go and what to do next. At first I didn’t really like it, but then it seemed to me, on the contrary, good: it brings you a little closer to reality. Although sometimes you have to poke at everything in order to understand what exactly can be picked up in your inventory and what cannot. When you click on something, you can read main_hero's text comment {there is no voiceover here} on your screen sometimes, and sometimes it helps you to understand what the game wants you to do.
In my opinion, switching items in the Inventory {when there are a lot of them} is not very convenient. But it will do.

A small interesting and a bit unusual detail: after completing each chapter, you can often choose one of the next two chapters to play next. In my opinion, the player is rare given by developers even that little choice, so that's a good thing here. Although personally, I still just play each chapter in order :)

I liked chapter1. It seemed pretty logical to me. Well, except, perhaps, for the moment with the shooting the apple and with the straw figurine. And kinda beautiful.

In chapter2 I hate the final constellation puzzle. I don't like games where I have to peek in guides to understand the puzzle, and this particular puzzle seems like for 7 year old children... But it turned out, that I stucked on that puzzle, because the answer was incorrect. Even on the sail this constellation is depicted correctly. But in the puzzle box there is a wrong image, it does not correspond to what is in reality, and what is on the sail. The answer is, of course, obvious {as soon as you see the mended sail}, but in my opinion it is implemented incorrectly.

Chapter3 is a cliche for cheap games of such genge... Yes, there are still a couple of interesting moments there and not-very-cheap-looking animation, but little logic, unfortunately. You'll see all that "oh, I was kidnapped and locked in some house, I cracked the kidnapper's safe, but I will take from it not some important folders, not an ancient scroll that seems rare, not the kidnapper's personal diaries, but an old water valve" kinda stuff... That I usually dislike in such games. Also I didn’t immediately understand that it was still possible to interact with a gas stove, and I was annoyed that I couldn’t heat water in the kettle simply in the fireplace...

Chapter4 has quite dumb {illogical} plot in my opinion...

There are no any hidden collectables or Steam achievements in this game {as of March 2024}. And this is quite sad, imho.

In total: But the game is free, not too short, and not bad, so if you like puzzles and HOG genre, you definitely can give it a try. Crack one chapter per evening will be good, I think: not hard, but not too easy. Kinda relaxing.

I "recommend" this game only because it's free :)
You can grab it to kill some time)... I can't say it is "interesting game")

Visual style is good. Cartoonish {obviously :) }.

Music is ok. There are almost no sounds in this game, also the developers obviously didn't want to spend money on any voiceover. So you'll need to read through the whole game.

Plot is dumb imho. Maybe it will be ok for children though, because story is kind, every characters are disgustingly polite, "friendship is a miracle" and all that kind of sh!t :)
Secret passage between cars on a train?) Really?) Elevator on the train with only 1 floor?) Stealing keycard and treasure {that belongs to other creatures} from a safe, but then "ah ok, let's put it back, it was just for fun", even Rouge_the_Bat, really?) A cake from a random bakery with "Amy" written on it and her portrait already on the cake?)
And some other detailes) I'd call the plot very childish. On the screen for choosing a "murderer" out of all the characters, I guessed who was responsible for this "crime" on my first try)

Oh, one more tiny thing) Perhaps you'd be better off choosing a fun name for your character) I chose my real one, and I felt a little strange throughout the game because other characters constantly call you by your name, and your character is quite stupid))

Gameplay is divided into 2 "parts":
@ detective part
where you should read comments from characters, and where you can click only on several highlighted objects {most of them are useless though}... I usually don't mind to read story in games, but here it's just naive/dumb... Plus, I was a bit tired skipping stupid anime-style comments like "!..", "...", "(...)", "Ugrh!", "Oh..."
If this game was designed for children, then child who is going to play it should like to read, I guess)... And should be patient) Because the beginning was long and boring even for me)...
@ action part
where you play as Sonic in some kind of isometric top-down runner game, and you need to collect rings as in classics. Actually, that running parts were pretty fun, somehow I even catched nostalgic feeling about me played SegaMegaDrive2 long time ago) That action levels are too easy in the beginning of course, but on some last levels I made like 5-10 tryings to finally beat them. They became quite speedy :)
Game suggests you whole bunch of options to make that levels even easier, but I don't think that if you lower the difficulty {speed} then this game will be interesting/worth to play in it at all...

Controls are simple: you need a mouse for "detective part" to click on characters/objects you want to speak with/about, and "Spacebar"/left mouse button to go read the next comment. You need "A" {move left}, "D" {move right}, "Spacebar" {jump} buttons for the "action parts" with Sonic.

Please note, that this game available only in English.

Definitely good game.
Simple graphics, but good-looking.

A bit unusual interface for the point'n'click sort of games. You don't see your character walking in the village, so you are like in "observe" mode through his eyes, and to go to other locations you should click on "walk mode" button and then on arrows button to instantly teleporting to other location. It's not convenient if you want to walk several locations in the row, but for example you can fast-travel using the map.
Lots of stuff in the interface are confusing at first, but then you study all the buttons on your screen, everything becomes pretty clear, and you get used to it.

Controls: you are using only a mouse.

Good sounds and voiceover, pretty good soundtrack. A little intense, but overall not annoying. I'd say even kinda beautiful sometimes: when female vocals without words for example.

Good and interesting plot, good dialogs. The strongest "pros" of this game, I think.
I like all characters of this game, they all have their cute "style", in my opinion. I like the main character {detective Grimoire}: he's not a sharpest tool in the shed, but not too stupid, and he is nice guy {well, maybe except jokes about dead...}. Btw, I didn't find any "laughable" jokes here, it's not main point here, however I still felt when the conversations were in a cheerful manner, and it was nice.

This game has a good detective component, an interesting solution, a fairly logical plot for my taste. It feels like the developers did care about the game. It always leaves good feelings to players.

I'd say that "puzzling minigames" here are for the 5-7 years old children. That's not the main point of the game. But still that minigames add some "ambiance" and add variety to gameplay. Puzzles with detective's sentences were interesting for me.
I usually never use hints in games, but it seems that if you are struggling, game suggests you help in several ways: option to ask policeman NPC, advice from detective himself, detailed instructions before some tasks, or just trying each combination one by one.

Game is kinda short, but that's ok. I beat it in 4 hours, with all the achievements, without taking a look in any guides.

In total: Worth buying with a discount {or in a bundle}. Interesting plot and dialogs. Good for spending several hours. Light and relaxing game. Good visual style.

I decided to give a try to this free game, and it turned out to be a pretty good, unusual game.

Right from the beginning you see quite unusual game menu, I can't say it's convenient, but it's unusual.
I like graphics of this game, it's simple but kinda good - I guess that's why "20 Small Mazes" catched my eye.
There is no music in this game. Sounds are good - a bit relaxing {birds' chirping, wind blowing, etc}.

I liked the puzzles. There are several interesting and logical puzzles. It's really not only about mazes, but about several puzzles, and some of them were pretty cool {I wouldn't play a game just with mazes, because it would be too simple, childish and uninteresting}.

I beat the game in 80 minutes, and encountered only 1 small bug - with the "jigsaw" maze: there are 9 pieces to join with each other by their "right" sides, and sometimes when you rotate the piece often, its place becomes not gray but white, so you can't place it back. It turns gray again only if you move some other piece close to it {in corresponding rotation position}.

You can track down your progress by the progress bar on one of the windows. It's pretty useful, because you can lose something {but it's hard tbh} by constantly dragging the windows right&left or up&down. Each "puzzling maze" takes place on 1 or 2 windows.

I didn't quite understand only the answer to the "treasure digging" maze: when I noticed the clue, I thought that I need to count the number of squares from start point to the "X" mark and then divide it by 2. But it turned out that the treasure was hidden several squares BEFORE "total number of squares divided by 2", or maybe I just miscalculated idk :) I began to dig on each square of the route and eventually found the treasure.

I found that the only thing {or "window"} that has no use but moveable is the cloud :) Maybe it's possible to come up with some use for it too :) Like for instance the player should cover the sun with this cloud so that rain falls on the ground and something appears :) For example, a coin or a bone buried in the ground would appear, instead of just being obtained by holding the left mouse button on one of the windows.

In total: short but free and quite interesting game. If you want to spend 1-2 hours by solving not hard, relaxing, maze related puzzles with logical solutions, then you can check this game out.

Looks like quick-made port of mobile game to PCs. Game has its pros, but cons are "heavier" here...

Music and sounds are simple, can't say that they are completely bad, but I didn't "enjoy" them. Just ok.

+Pros:
Good graphics. There is a diversity in puzzle types {lots of interesting ones}, diversity in objects on the HOG scenes {too easy though}. Didn't get the feeling of "repetitiveness" {and this is cool}. Game has at least SOME plot.

-Cons:
Bugged mode: you simply can't normally play the levels in "sepia" mode, so you have to quit such levels and thus lost your energy in vain {or have to randomly click on your screen to collect hidden items even if you don't see them on their places} . Bugged energy recovering {often does not recover if you turn-off your PC}. Energy is needed for playing levels. Usually it recovers pretty slow though {unless it gets bugged when you launch it next day and see that all initial booster potions are ON again :) }. Game has plenty other bugs {adding each other as in-game friends feature doesn't work, etc}.
However you regularly receive pop-up windows about purchasing some dumb in-game stuff like hints for plenty of real money...

There are millions of collectibles in this game. I like collect things in games, but it is "too much" here. Literally hundreds of things with so rare chances to get them {plus, it is made as several types of gambling...}, but you need that things to fulfill some regular popped quests... And seems like none of them is "forever" in your inventory as "a trophy": all the collectibles are one-time items for using to boost/to create something, so if you want to actually have a collection AND fulfill quests, then you need to spend MUCH time even for 1 kind of item...

In total: Can't recommend this game. Seems like a good start of porting to PCs some HOG, but then abandoned. There are some other free games with lots of different puzzles, online limited-time quests, rewards, lots of collectibles, etc that are better than this game.

Interesting platformer.
You can hit the enemies with your "scissors-swords", unlock different skills by collecting enough frags, use your mana for healing yourself and use different abilities to overcome obstacles & traps. You can die as many times as you want while exploring the world - checkpoints are pretty frequent and convenient.

I liked the idea of blood-thirsty Red Riding Hood, it was... interesting and a bit unexpected, because the game feels quite "childish" in the beginning. In my opinion, "fresh" alternative scenario of famous fables fits for the nightmares of the young girl. We know only her name {Alicia}. Two main heroes live in her room and protect her: fairy Lighty and Teddy Bear. They constantly argue with each other. I didn't find it funny. At least in this Demo. Moreover, the fairy's voice repeating the hurry-up phrase "Come on, Bear" etc on the training level was annoying. But dialogs are still good.

I liked the visual style of the game. Level with bean stalks & dangerous flowers is rather beautiful in my opinion. Although I didn't really like the image of the mechanical wolves {your enemies on the first level}: they could have looked cooler, IMHO.

This is the longest Demo I've ever seen for now. I played it for 2 hours, I think that it is good for free game.
I'll probably consider buying its full version with the big discount... To unlock different skills, to see the end of the story, to find all little secrets hidden on levels and granting you special abilities for limited number of slots.
In order to find some secrets you'll have to replay some levels after gaining some new special powers. There are ~4 portals {cracked mirrors} on each level to teleport faster through the parts of levels.

In total: it is free, and it is pretty good Demo.

A slightly more "recommend", than "not recommend"...
Game has some things from the other games of that developer, as usual. I think I need to stop playing in them :) But at least this one has SOME plot. Kinda primitive, as usual, but not completely dumb. Although the elements like "take big ladder and burning candle into your inventory", "a frightened kitten hid under the stairs, so we use an ax to chop the stairs into pieces around the kitten to get him out", "can't use a brick as a jack for desired object_A, instead we use brick as a jack to loose jack, and then use jack as a jack for object_A" etc. etc. are still present, how could we be without them... In this part of this game there are no paranormalities, like in the first part, which is definitely good in my opinion.

If you didn't much play in games of this studio, you can check "Ghost Files 2: Memory of a Crime" out. This game can help you to kill some time for a couple of evenings {~5 hours in total}.
Puzzles are simple, but there are 1-2-3 interesting moments. Of course I suggest to play only in "expert" mode, otherwise it will be just some clicker game, and not a puzzling/hidden objects game, you know.

There are 3 types of collectibles in this game {as usual}. Pretty interesting to look for and collect them all. There are Steam achievements for finding all of the collectibles, it wasn't hard {as usual}, I did it without peeking in any guides.
Bonus chapter is much shorter {and dumber} than the main game.

In total: for spending some time whilst solving easy puzzles.
Only with huge discount.
