A short and sweet, point and click game. There's a sandbox mode to mess around in as well as the story mode which gives you missions to complete. The way to satisfy the villagers is super easy and the last two levels made it slightly more difficult to pin point what makes them happy, which I appreciate. Though the more shops and amenities you place, the longer the road and more you would have to move around. The art style is adorable and the music is not too noisy or too ambient. I loved playing this game, 6 months of work and it's impressive!

Good base game, you get a taste of the DLCs as demos within the game so you can decide whether to get the extras. Personally, I was irritated over not being able to mow the grass unless you bought the Garden DLC, but even the Garden DLC is worth it as you get to enter Garden Competitions to increase your house value, and get more control of the entire property, so you don't need to get Farms, Pets, Luxury or HFTV if you're just happy with what they have to offer on the base game.

Overall, cures boredom and isn't irritating to play.

The game has a lot of exploration and secret areas, the bosses are fun and enraging to face, until you have to fight them again but more intensely. The lore is a little difficult to grasp in the beginning since the lore is mostly in the environment as you explore, and from the characters you meet, but personally, once I started putting some hours in I became obsessed with the storyline. Beautiful artwork and the mechanics are put together well, though if you prefer to use WASD, change the keybinds in the beginning as it starts you off with the arrow keys. Love this game from the bottom of my heart!

This game I play casually with friends and it's one of the less stressful games despite my thalassophobia. We love the feeling of selling our bounties and loot and watching our income increase, as well as allying with other players and deciding what kind of adventure we want to have each session. It's not entirely skill based, it's cruisey but also challenging, so I love the inconsistent consistencies this game brings.
