OK here is my unbiased review, after 60 days played on my epic account I can safely say this game is worth your investment of time. Unlike other extensive reviews that ramble on about how bad the game is due to their lack of practice that negatively affects their performance. I am going to get straight to the point.
Pros:
- the game mechanics, map, weapon, bounce nade spots and rogue knowledge determines at an even greater extent (than a linear game like COD) at how well you will do at this game. Meaning there will always be room to advance your skills and grow as a player long term bringing the aspect of longevity.
- there is a vast character selection with over 15 unique rogues to pick from with distinct abilities, designated weapons and gadgets.
- gun and rogue balance is almost perfect there is no shifting meta every season such as Apex Legends.
- developers actually play the game crazy right?! They also prioritize player feed back and adjust the game accordingly. For example their paid events in season two, they learned from that mistake and now make the events free and give free rogue bucks through challenges on the side.
- three lane maps simple and effective.
- graphics, this game is powered by the unreal engine and on high to ultra settings the picture looks stunning.
- play styles can be versatile, you can play pub matches solo guns blazing no problem or play ranked for a more defensive team based orientation.
- game is FREE.
- compelling game modes 6v6 king of the hill, 4v4 demolition and 4v4 strikeout.
Cons:
- game is a grind for new players to unlock rogues without paying real money, at the start you get 5 free rogues. However you do have 3 daily challenges everyday that gives the player 300-500 rp each that helps alleviate the load.
- player base is growing but still small you will be seeing the same names often depending on the region of the server you use.
- friendly community not as toxic.
- new players might feel overwhelmed at first from the skill gap. However, you will always have room to grow your skills and not plateau.
