This is a game you LOVE being stumped, stuck or unsure what to do. The reward is figuring it out and finding that INSANE way to get to it and the amazing animation that pats you on the head for figuring it out. I played Samorost 1 & 2 before this and it was just a set up for how great the 3rd one is. It got better and more complex and trippy every time they made a new game. The MUSIC is so great I love just sitting there and interacting with it. Again, the animation is so fun and I really don't see any game like it. Overall, I loved the story too, felt like a storybook of something your parents would read to you. It also gives me that beautiful nostalgic vibe of the point and click games of "Pajama Sam" or "Freddi Fish" but with this insanely psychedelic twist to it with even harder situations.

It's a great game to buy for the price and even better to have something to play and beat within 10 hours to transition between longer games. I loved 1 & 2 too so feel free to play those if you love these kind of games, BUT it's not required in my opinion and you can go right into 3.

When I saw advertisements for this game I chuckled thinking this was some "Goat Simulator" type game with all the wrong intentions. Little did I know this game was a stroke of genius. This has such a unique idea to it that made me regret those initial premonitions. Stray, at every turn within the storyline, had me curious what was going to happen next. I loved the problem solving aspect and was honestly stumped on a few levels, but refreshingly awarded as I figured it out. The animation was great in my opinion and really gave that extra depth to the story. The world building and storytelling were the key essential to my immersion into this storybook that really made me feel something dark but hopeful in the right ways. This is a must play for gamers across the board (and even people WHO DONT LIKE CATS!)

I spent almost 80 hours playing this game and the funny thing is I didn't end up finishing it.

This review comes from a really wild angle of the entire series as a whole. I tried reading the books, I tried watching the TV show and I tried playing the games. I even bought a poster, a mug and set my backgrounds to as many Witcher themed art as I could find.

There was a time I really loved this game, I didn't even want to play multiplayer games at one point, I would even schedule it in my calendar and plan what I would do next in the game. I would even light my room a certain way and my desk when playing.

But then it updated into some new update which made the game different in the bad way, the Netflix show got bad, the books storytelling and endless lore got confusing, the DLC was prolonging the game into infinity and I just fell out of love with it.

Suddenly I was apart of a lot of Witcher fans who were like "What happened to this franchise?" it kind of spread thin and started to become milked for what it's not...another Lord of the Rings. Not only that the update made the game unplayable and I ended up losing a lot of progress that I didn't feel like redoing.

My Recommendation: Play the game with out the DLC and play it on a quality that your PC can handle. Don't dilly dally in the game and just keep it moving at a quicker pace. Don't try and 100% the game because it will become a tad repetitive and you'll lose the great story that is within the game. Don't fall into what the Witcher brand is wildly changing into.

One day I will re download this game and finish it, but right now I understand it's a masterpiece, I just got caught up the hype of it all and it ruined it a bit for me. If that's what you are afraid of... don't download the DLC and just play the straight forward story line and stay away from the new wave of the Witcher series. That's what made it what it is known for not what it isn't anymore.

One of the most oddly entertaining games in the gaming universe. I hope this extends to cross play and other consoles because I love how uniquely intense this game can get when things go hang wire. I also love how this game is just getting started and there is so much more it can offer like new maps, monsters, challenges and items. I can see this being like Deep Rock Galactic a bit where you have missions where the possibilities are endless. Especially with mods and expansions this game can really explode in to the absurdities of the meme world. Work every cent.

It's worth every cent if you can find people you love to play it with you.

I absolutely love this game to pieces. There is something to be said about a game where you can go on missions with your friends and always have a great time. This one is easily one of the best and I really hope this becomes a classic through the cross platform world. The overall concept of this game is so obscure and it brings you into this odd world that is so fun to be a part of. On top of that all the little things like connecting pipes, mining and reviving people are so tactile and fun that I remember my friends and I fighting over it. To be honest, it's one of those games where...oddly...nothing becomes toxic between friends and it brings sort of a happy vibe to the game. It's also really hard to upgrade so you really have to grind and get fast at getting through levels in order to keep up with the ever-growing monsters. That pressure gives the game sort of a push to keep getting better at your class. The funny thing is, in my opinion, this game is just getting started. Once they get quicker at updating the game and adding more game modes and such, this game will become unstoppable. I honestly would LOVE if the creators had a campaign mode to sort of give background to all of theses characters and maybe even a lore of sorts because I think it would be HILARIOUS.
