I really wanna love this game, as i did the first one to death. But the sheer amount of performance issues i have with this game just makes it downright unplayable. my specs are as follows:

Windows 10
Ryzen 7 5800x CPU
TUF GAMING B550M-PLUS WIFI II MOTHERBOARD
32GB DDR4 RAM
ROG STRIX RTX 3070 TI GPU
SAMSUNG 990 PRO SSD STORAGE


I really dont know why it runs so poorly, as I usually run fine when in the home base, but as soon as i exit to any map it just starts dropping to 10fps or lower. occasionally it will start running fine out of nowhere but i will get consistent frame drops especially in the forest area making it essentially unplayable.

I usually play at lowest graphics, a resolution of 80% for steamvr resolution, and 100-120% resolution for in game res, turning down either gives very slight performance boosts but still borderline unplayable.

One of the biggest bugs i have encountered as well is an issue where as soon as i touch an item on my vest which would provide haptic feedback like hovering over it before grabbing, makes my hand float away as if my controller disconnected, then would come back in the next few seconds as if i grabbed it normally, i do not know why this occurs but it seems to be fixed when i turn off the haptic feedback for grabbing items off of chest in the menu.

i hope i provided some constructive criticism towards this game and this reaches the developers, as i do want to love it, it is currently i would say unplayable in its current state but i want to see it thrive so me and others could have fun with it.
