Cute game with simple basics, and a decent modding platform. A little slow when you first get started. It can probably seem tedious. The fishing is the main thing I needed a mod for, as the minigame where you try to keep the green box by the fish to reel it in feels oddly hard for newbies. I also added a combat mod, put it at some high settings, and feel like I sort of cheated? Lol. So be careful with your mods. But the game itself is still very enjoyable without mods! This game is enjoyable for just about all ages 10 and up, probably.

EDIT on 3/19/24: After about 400 hours in Steam and several more via the Stardrop custom mod manager, I'm excited for the update and so proud of my mod-making friends! My original review was before I joined the mod-making community and I see how much work goes into it, and I also appreciate the vanilla game even more too. <3
