On behalf of the TF2 community, I would like to apologize for the bad actors and trolls negatively review bombing this game. Half-Life 2 is genuinely a masterpiece and doesn’t deserve this, we DO NOT associate ourselves and the FIXTF2 movement with them.

With that being said, having actually played Half-Life 2, I feel somewhat obligated to leave a proper review for it. So here:

Half-Life 2 is an amazing game that, despite being 20 years old, still holds up above most other modern AAA games to this day. The story is griping, the gun play is immaculate, the environments are awesome, and even the graphics still hold up fairly well. It’s very refreshing in a landscape of modern mediocre FPS games, and I cannot recommend it more.

However, with all that being said, I’ve seen a lot of people praise this game to no end, in which some may be slightly biased. So I do have some criticisms:

For one, despite aging insanely well, it is still a two decade old game. Some sections don’t hold up as well as others, however the issues are fairly minor and are overshadowed by the rest of the really good parts.
Although, the game is very long, and some chapters (*cough*Water Hazard*cough*) do drag on a bit longer than they maybe should.
Now, if this sounds like it may be a problem for you, I ask that you STILL PLAY IT. Trust me, once you get past those parts, you will be rewarded with one of the best gaming experiences ever in your life.

That’s all I have to say, probably nobody will read this but I wanted to review it anyways.
