This is a really sweet game with very simple controls and actually quite fun mechanics! There's lots of cute little characters that we meet and I just love how playful the whole thing is! The game is also really easy to 100% and it was an enjoyable experience to do so! It took me 6hrs to finish the game and 100% it, so it is fairly short and there is no replayability unless you really just want to mess around as a cat again OR you'd like to speedrun. However, it is a great game! I only encountered one bug where I softlocked myself and couldn't move when I attempted to jump into a bin lmao

But yes, loved the game and would recommend that you give it a try, too!

Early Access Review
i just love this game sm. i like how i can meet people across the world and experience a lovely game with them! when i found out that the game was now on steam, i jumped at the opportunity to play on my laptop instead of the switch and it runs great and there are very little controls, which made it super easy to learn on the keyboard :) just a note to anyone who is coming from the switch or phone, if you want your account to be linked to your steam, make sure you have the sky app on the phone and link accounts BEFORE you play the game on steam.

this game is free, so i would strongly recommend that anyone interested download it and try it out <3

Great game! I'm nearly through it all and may come back to update if something life-changing occurs, but this game is one I would recommend 100%. It features well-developed characters, has some great humour at times and is set in a unique environment--an oil rig, which opens the doors for platforming, dark metal corridors, and a very unsettling atmosphere at times. What I really like about this game is that it's actually a horror set in the day, which also gave me a false sense of security at times, but the horror was still very much there regardless of the lighting. It's very forgiving and has great attention to detail with fun achievements that I will definitely collect with a second playthrough! I won't say much on the story as I am not done yet and also don't want to spoil, but I'm greatly enjoying it so far ^-^ Only issue I had was with FPS, but I'm unable to say whether it's just my set-up or the game, so take that with a grain of salt! It improves by lowering the graphics settings anyway :)

Baldur's Gate 3 is the best game I've come across in my entire life. It is a gift and blessing to all those who enjoy D&D, myself included. It is a game not just for the community of the game it's based on though, it is for all people who love RPGs. This is a game made for the player, in every sense of the word. With such an amazing main story that allows you to play HOWEVER you'd like. And I mean it. There is so much to do and so much replayability because of that. Side quests are plentiful, the environment is something that reveals different stories when interacted with in numerous ways. It's characters are just...incredible. We have a sassy vampire and magical artifact eating wizard to name a couple. The voice actors deserve all the love for how they bring these characters to life. You can genuinely build a sort of connection to these personalities that can lead to you developing all sorts of opinions of them, making you really feel like you're in the game and interacting with them in real life. There are side plots to these characters that you can do (or not, it's not like the game dictates what you do lmao) and the character development that these provide is just amazing. I love watching them grow AND helping them to grow.

The character selection is great, and really gives you a lot of freedom to really maximise your enjoyment. The combat is great, although it's SUPER CHALLENGING. Words cannot describe how challenging it is. My first playthrough, I played on the lowest difficulty because I wanted to enjoy the story. The second playthrough I played on the medium difficulty and almost immediately changed to the lowest just because I kept getting brutally smacked around LMAO. Additionally, the soundtrack is incredible and I just adore the music and how it is integrated into the game. Truly adds that extra immersion into the environment.

The ONLY thing that I can critique about this game is the romance. I adore the romance, but it is so difficult and confusing at times. There's this one event in the first act where you can get 'spicy', let's say, with a character of your choosing. You can miss this depending on what route you take. This event also commonly begins the romance of many characters (to our knowledge). How do you romance these characters if you don't do this event? Who knows? There's different ways and can be a bit of a waiting game even. Even after this event and choosing a character to romance, there's no real surefire way to confirm the romance route. This game is fairly new at the moment, so getting help on your difficulties is a bit impossible as well, which is unfortunate.

To conclude, this game is amazing and full of surprises and stories that leave you reeling! It still needs its fair share of updates to patch a few glitches and maybe some more assistance on romance, but this game is great, genuinely. It's worth every single dollar.

my mum doesn't like leon much but she said that ada is hot so that was nice. anyway lmao, this is an amazing game AND remake that adds a lot to the re series. Sneak attacks, knives are more useful, enemies are challenging and the game is beautifully made. it definitely honours the original re4, which is definitely one of the best games in the re series and what revived it. i might be biased bc daddy leon and mummy ada are in this also, but this is just so much fun to play. Boss fights are different and vary greatly, introducing new mechanics that just make the game all the more exciting. i do like the idea of being able to somewhat control ashley's movements and actions, although she's still very crazy sometimes. it's not frustrating though, it's just funny lmao. also i LOVE what they've done w/ luis the third loml. he's so much more interesting and he's honoured sm more!

anyway, overall 1000/10--love this game so much. definitely my favourite game out of the entire series. super incredible job by capcom and others <3 they should be proud

dear god how havent i given a review for this GODLIKE game. ugh i dont even know where to begin with this--everything in this game is amazing. i have not played the original so i cannot testify for whether or not it is a good remake, but either way it is an AMAZING game. the story is so intriguing, the horror elements are very much there and there are super scary moments--genuinely--, the characters--ahem, leon and ada, ahem--are super cool (hot) and you can definitely understand their morals and goals by watching cutscenes and simply listening to their dialogue. there are also little tributes to game production and everything. achievements are super fun to get (except for a certain something...iykyk), which i think is very important as i am a completionist at heart. combat in this game can get super jank if you want to compare knifing enemies to just gunning them down lmao. if you watch the speedruns you can literally see how overpowered knives are so slay! but the combat is super fun and challenging and its really fun to look at the variety of enemies and figure out each of their weaknesses. the dogs are the scariest imo, which might be weird for those who have already played this game but shhh. idk what else to share but if any of you have any questions pls comment because i know basically everything about this game. super worth the price and i guarantee you won't regret getting it as long as you enjoy a decent challenge :))
LOVE YOU BYE

P.S. leon and ada are couple goals just saying

it takes two is a unique and highly enjoyable experience for friends, couples, and family members alike. your two protags are may and cody, who are planning on getting a divorce and their daughter wants that to not happen basically. anyway, all the mechanics are awesome in this game and highly unique, with may and cody being given two different abilities every chapter that you must use together to successfully complete puzzles and progress in the story. the artstyle is amazing and you can tell that a lot of effort has been put into this game. i wouldn't say that it has replayability exactly, unless you plan to speedrun or do a completionist run. doesn't matter though, it is still a massively enjoyable game that not only feels rewarding when completed, but also just straight up fun. it's just a great bonding experience :)))

now, i love EVERYTHING about this game if you omit the story. while it is comedic and is centred around lightheartened banter and all that--its kind of infuriating to witness a couple that planned to go their separate ways get forced into a situation where they are forced to work together. i am not bashing this game or anything, it's just something that probably could've been executed a bit better rather than this couple being forced together when they don't WANT to be together. (not only that but their daughter's a bit dumb and if you play the game you'll see why lmao). anywayyy, that's really the only issue i have with the game and just trust me when i say that it is seriously enjoyable (apart from that stupid book as well smh) and its definitely worth the $50.

A beautiful, beautiful game with some amazing scenery and lots of effort put into open-world interactions! Lots of little details that will bring a smile to your face, too. The companions are AMAZING iykyk 0-0 Quests are also super fun and I really enjoy interacting with the characters, it's also got some hilarious moments that I'll let you find for yourself in the main quests. I really like the combat, it's really interesting and definitely takes some skill to master but it's just super unique and varied for each combat situation. Also, the animals in this world make me want to cry of joy--they are adorable, I just wish we could give them a hug or something. I do recommend hippogriff flying because it's lowkey so beautiful. I do wish they did a bit more with the houses and made them seem more influential in decisions, quests, or literally ANYTHING. I don't even feel like a Slytherin, man. Also, no Quidditch?? Sadge. But do not let that factor into whether or not you get this game because I'm literally just nitpicking.

It offers A LOT and it's such a big world with literally sm to do. This is one of the disadvantages, I've found. There's a lot of, well, world, which brings a lot to do but it gets super repetitive and tedious over time, and I'm one of those gamers who want to 100% everything but the amount of things to do has kind of out me off 100% for this game unfortunately. Also, I've got a great gaming laptop that can run literally every game but this one well T-T This game takes a really good system to run, do not take my words lightly. I think it takes my system, on average, 10 minutes to get to the menu and fast travel is slower than running or flying to the location instead, like--?? i do not use fast travel at all because of the time it takes to load. So, get a good system lmao. Any questions, feel free to comment them although i haven't finished the game yet so there are limits to my knowledge
