Is what id say if it wasnt an alright game at its core. NFS Rivals has you being a racer or a cop, unlocking cars and abilities to ♥♥♥♥ over other players in a free roam server that randomly crashes every 20 minutes, by completing repetitive tasks with 0 gimmicks, following a very niche
edgy story.
The good stuff is the OST. Also the graphics are very impressive.
Thats all the good things this game has.
The driving is ass, your car never decides whether is wants to drift or not, something that doesnt happen in NFSHP, yet people claim that game has bad handling. Using the nitrous is so unsatisfying, and the car crashing physics are outrageous.
The gameplay loop is fairly fun, but no one ever plays cops, because it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks, considering the racers can get away by entering any hideout, at any time, dont bother trying. The game quickly gets boring without friends and is also locked at 30fps with some absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥ UI controls made by someone who probably has never used a pc in his life. Im geniunely convinced the people who say this game is good doesnt play it anymore, at least not on pc.

NFS Rivals is a great game, dont buy it.
