Mafia II

It's hard to disagree that Mafia II is one of the best, if not the best, game of 2010. And there are many reasons to say so. I've never played the first part, so I got acquainted with this franchise with Mafia II. And this game has every right to be called one of the classics of its genre, which in its time could compete even with GTA. And frankly speaking, I can't believe that after this masterpiece they released such a terrible Mafia III and Definitive Edition.

I want to warn you that you really shouldn't waste your time with the Definitive Edition. In my opinion, it is worth buying only if you want the classic version of the game, and I would like to inform you about the advantages and disadvantages of Mafia II(classic version):

Advantages:

The plot. IT'S JUST GORGEOUS. Games like Mafia II have every right to be called a masterpiece. Games like this make up 10 percent of all games. The other 90 percent are trash like Ubisoft/Activision games. I don't want to spoil the plot, but I have to say it's worth your time. Each mission has something different, making them unique and catchy. whether it's the last mission with Henry or the introduction to Leo.

Atmosphere. The game perfectly captures the atmosphere of the 50s. Many songs on the radio, soundtracks perfectly complement the game, making it more lively.
Characters. They feel alive, and each player will have a favourite character. Whether it's Henry, who wasn`t the man he seemed o be, or or our friend Leo Galante, who is one of the most loved characters in this game.

Disadvantages:

Boring City. The problem is the same as in GTA IV: there are few activities that the main character can do. A bar, a clothing store, a gun shop, a phone booth, and a few other activities. The chain seems to have a VERY small amount of activities.
Bugs. A game that was released in 2010 will obviously have bugs, and so on. But, I don't know about others, I rarely encountered them, 3-4 bugs for the entire playthrough.
Optimisation. It is average. But in some moments it's really terrible, EVEN on a powerful PC, fps can drop low to 30-50 frames.

Despite all the flaws, this game is a classic of its genre and is highly recommended to play
