I never played Pokemon as a kid aside from when I woke up before my friend at a sleepover and he let me use his DS a few times, but this satisfies that itch that I've never been able to really scratch.

Insanely fun so far, and I'm not even close to finishing the game yet

Yeah this game sucks. They had a great game and just decided to remove the good aspects. Maybe I'm crazy, but even the gameplay feels less ineteresting than it was before.
Removing the loot boxes is by far their worst mistake too, they made the game exciting to play because you could just get random stuff for playing enough, now if you don't spend money you can't get anything, and even with money there's none of the excitement of opening a random crate.

Taking a game people paid money for and then just making a worse version with another monetized battle pass is just insane and I hate whoever decided on that strategy. There's nothing new in the game besides characters who don't even feel unique, they just sucked the fun from all the other characters, map, and general aspects of the game.

Also ♥♥♥♥ you blizzard for not allowing me to connect a different account for a whole year????? I didn't know which email I used for the account I used years ago so now I'm stuck with the one I made for like two games when I randomly decided I wanted to start over my skins (which I no longer want because you dumbasses won't let me get new skins at all anymore so now I'm missing skins and achievements)

Pretty fun game so far, I have only made it past the first 2 bosses at the moment so I'm not sure how different the other characters feel, but for now it makes sense that this is early access. It's fun, and has a very cool style to follow, but it doesn't feel like there's tons of different options or tons of interesting differing dynamics between cards (I've only played an hour and a half so take this with a grain of salt, I haven't seen every card so I could be wrong about the dynamics)

I'd especially like if there was some way to permanently buff cards/characters, or even just permanently within a battle (again, this might be a feature with another character, or with cards I haven't encountered, just talking from what I've seen so far. I have a couple with passives that I do really like though), It's not necessary, but stuff like that or the totems in StS/Wldfrost makes those games even more enjoyable

But yeah, I'm excited to keep playing and see how the rest of the game works, and how the character's stories play out. Also just how the game changes. Either way, it is fun though, especially because the fairytale art and style are so fun


Edit: Finished the game (for the first time) and starting a new game introduces some interesting things that promote replaying and could make each run a little more fun. Also from that run I will say the big bad wolf is pretty fun (and very busted) to build around

I really wish I could see the work put behind this and how it determined which message and word to give at the end, along with the stats breakdown. Very interesting game though, I enjoyed doing the test a lot.

I am loving the game, each run being so different, along with giving you more available things (pets, companions, charms, events etc.) each run just makes it so replayable. Thought that myself becoming the boss would make it impossible, but since each run is so different it works great. Hope they keep adding things, but even if they don't it's an absolutely fantastic game the way it is. I might even say it's better than Slay The Spire honestly (both are insanely fun though)

I was feeling emotional during the finale and then maginificus pulled out the yu-gi-oh dual disks and I absolutely started chuckling.

Game itself is fantastic, one of my favourites. Excited to go back to act 1 with Kaycee's mod since that one is probably my favourite part

if he really wanted me to delete the game he would've guided me to all those missing achievements. Selfish bastard can rot for all i care

I still feel bad for that sleeping guy every time it appears even though it'll attack if I don't for too long

anyway, admittedly I only have 25 games on steam, but this is easily top 3. I can't stop playing it, very glad I got it during the summer sale even though it wasn't on as big of a sale as the other games I got.

This is what Hitman wishes it was (I mean it's way less intricate since it's just the shooting aspect, but also way more fun imo)
Plus you only have to pay once for this whole game unlike Hitman, there is mods, but they aren't built into the base game and to get the delux edition on this sale it's only an extra 3 dollars (very worth rn)

ANYWAY, enough of me being bitter about Hitman, This game is insanely fun, I don't really have much to say besides that. If you like shooting things in games, and don't have friends to play with (or don't like online co-op, or prefer sniping over actual gun fighting) then this is amazing.
Highly recommend if you see this while it's 90% off. Still recommend without the price drop, but only if you have the money available - I myself would wait for another price drop if I saw this at full price, but I also do/did that for like every game besides bg3
