RE4 definitely strays away from "horror", although the game does a great job at creating eerie atmospheres to make you feel uncomfortable. Every location in this game was designed beautifully, the enemies were annoying (in a good way!), and of course there are a TON of things you can find everywhere throughout the game. This is definitely a more action packed game when in comparison to the earlier RE games, but it is done in a fantastic way, and still ends up feeling like a Resident Evil game. My biggest problem with the game is that RE4 Ada was nothing like RE2 Ada. I get that 6 years occur between the two games, but her attitude alongside the voice change really throws off her whole character. RE2 still takes the cake for me, but I would still highly recommend this game to anyone! 8/10

Separate Ways DLC:
A quick and easy DLC that takes 3-4 hours to complete. It does a great job of filling in some story gaps that occurred during the main RE4 story as Leon (obviously, cause it was cut content I believe). Surprisingly, I really enjoyed all of the horror elements used at the Island (the end of the game) way more than I did with my time in the Village/Castle. But in the main story, it was the opposite for me. All of the boss fights were a blast, and everything felt well paced for the most part. I'd give this DLC a 7/10.

RE6 is a doozy.. I've played through it on Xbox and a little bit on Steam. This game is very fun during your first play through if you want a "fun co-op action game", but if you want to play it for a more serious RE story, you will hate it. The idea of "multiple stories that intertwine" is fun, and mostly all of the characters are enjoyable, except Helena. But really, I'd only recommend it for the co-op experience, at least its a little more enjoyable than RE5. 5/10.

I've played through this twice, once on Xbox and once on Steam, and wow, this game just feels like an arcade shooter. Justice for Sheva, please put her in another game. 4/10.

Not sure what was more disappointing, Jill Valentine being an absolute b**** with the most insane plot armor I have ever seen in a video game, or the fact that the BiG BaD "Nemesis" never ONCE felt threatening because every section with him was just scripted or a boss fight. Jill is still hot though, so. 5/10.

Mr. X footstep's haunt me in my dreams. 8/10.
