I played this game through to the end on the ps4 a while ago, so since it released on steam, I thought I’d pick it up. So I plugged in my controller and booted up the game.

The reviews of this game seem to be horrifying, as many people have issues with the game running poorly or outright crashing early on. I experienced some difficulties, but was able to fix them. What happed to me was that in the first level after the initial cutscene, the map broke and walls filled it, walls glitching into me so I couldn’t see, walls blocking doors, etc. But a quick game restart fixed it, leaving only a few broken graphics, and I was able to finish the level. After the level, the game ran perfectly and I have not experienced any more glitches.

The game also runs smoothly at 60fps with zero stutters.

The game itself is amazing; the graphics are great, the music is great, the story is great. I can’t wait to finish this game again, this time on pc.

I would recommend buying this game, and if you experience any glitches in how the game runs or the game crashing, you can always refund it.

Took about 6 hours to complete the game, but it's a decent story and rewards exploration with fun minigames. Plus, if you buy the game, a friend can then play for free with you, pretty decent deal. Happy to see the whole game wasn't just in the prison.

While seemingly expensive for an early access game, it has a lot of promise. The general idea is very unique, and the way that Obsidian are executing it suggests that this will become the new Subnautica; an early access game that was heavily improved by the community playing it.

The story can currently easily be completed in one hour, but so far it's promising. The building is confusing at first, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes addicting. The world is very cleverly made, with the ability to run along blades of grass and be trampled on by giant spiders, ants, crickets and ladybugs, to be able to drink from droplets of water, and to build a base out of blades of grass.

This game is unique and definitely has lots of promise.

A cool spoof of Pokemon, with an accompanying nostalgic soundtrack. Recommended for Pokemon lovers!

Already in the early access, we are seeing better graphics and better performance than in the first game, and even better sounds design. The map is a modified version of 4546B, and damn is it cool. With a huge variety of whole new creatures and locations, plus the focus on above-water exploration, leading to the new temperature bar the player has to keep in control to avoid hypothermia. This new sequel to the original Subnautica is very promising, and we can expect to see another exceptional game from Unknown Worlds blossom before our very eyes.

This is a game that is more of a work of art than a video game. The visuals are spectacular and unique to this game, some moments are aesthetically breathtaking. The story is immersive, it lays down a good foundation and builds up from there; we see a relationship between Henry and Delilah form, and hit some shocking twists and turns along the way. The only negative thing about this game in my opinion is the length; it took me 4 hours to complete the game, and that included exploring around a lot as well, so the story was even shorter. I felt unsatisfied at the game's ending; I wanted more of the story that it had hooked me into.

Firewatch is a beautiful, atmospheric game with a lot of heart, and even though the ending and a few other plot points didn’t fully work for me, I immediately wanted to play it again. It tells a poignant, heartfelt story, but always knows precisely when to crack a joke. And its Wyoming wilderness is a stunning, evocative place to exist in. But most of all, it’s the characters I fell in love with. I would have liked some more time to experience Henry’s day job—you don’t do much actual fire-watching all told—but it’s a game I won’t forget in a hurry. And if you're looking for your own escape, it’s cheaper than a ticket to Wyoming.

The game itself is amazing. Buuuut it's completely ruined by cheaters and the developers not giving a ♥♥♥♥. Recommended if you can somehow get the mythical high trust factor, other than that, not really recommended.
