It’s pretty good for early access. Definitely a Sims 4 killer, but there are some things I really hope they change in the future.
Pros:
-Character creation system is absolutely mindblowing
-Graphics look like irl
-Impressive first person driving view and third person shoulder type view when walking around
-You can actually commit crimes and go to jail like hit npcs with your car and they might die from it (this will be ignored by cops) but you can go to jail for fighting and stealing
-Cool karma system that you can work on after your ZOI dies if they have "unfinished business" in their life
-You have a smartphone which you can use to check your calendar, look for a part time or full time job, check your progress on your current job, you can order food to your home and buy cars from the phone as well which I love
-Game runs well (I’m not getting any lag spikes on ultra settings)
-Two great cities to choose between and some decent starter homes
-You can import images from your PC and into the game which is really cool
-You can get married and have children
-Some random npcs will knock on your door from time to time due to different events like they are looking for their friend or they need some comforting after a friend passed away
-You can sometimes get a text from someone’s number saying that the owner of the phone has passed away which adds some lore to the game
-You can do legit work. This is one thing I really like, you can actually work when your ZOI goes to work, if you apply for a job like convinience store employee, you will have tasks during your work day like cleaning tables 5 times, cleaning the floor 5 times, sitting at the cashier stool for an in-game hour, and then you get a break where you can eat cake in the staff room with your manager for example, and then you go back to work and get similar tasks again but for the later part of the day.
-You get hospital schedules? I got some kind of counseling therapy thing on my schedule on one of my ZOI's days off work which is kinda cool
-Your child will actually apply to an elementary school at a young age and will have homework they have to do at home, and as they age up they go through middle school, then high school

Cons:
-Your ZOIs will do this insanely annoying thing where they insist that they have to sit down somewhere when you’re trying to make them talk to another ZOI, like they will not complete that conversation without sitting down
-ZOIs will vanish into thin air when getting hit by a car sometimes, and your car will still be able to crash into their non existent body
-The whole relationship thing is heavily sped up, I met a girl in game and clicked romance lines a few times, went on a date with her and suddenly we were married and she was pregnant and had that baby not long after, this was all in less than an irl hour or so
-Some bugs here and there like work uniforms not working (your zoi doesn’t change into it)
-The manual driving isn't very good but still impressive for a sims type game imo
-Babies can somehow change gender and age up in a few minutes. My ZOI's baby was declared as a "son" for a while until one night when my ZOI went to bed (the baby was a newborn at this time) and woke up the next morning to a 7 year old GIRL running around the house who I genuinely thought was some random kid breaking into the house, but no that was my "son" who had changed gender and aged 7 years in one night
-After getting married, your so called wife is gonna treat you like ♥♥♥♥ most of the time, refusing hugs, refusing kisses, refusing just about anything even remotely romantic or positive. Your family relationship or your personal relationship with your wife will go down each time you try to give a hug or kiss or whatever and she refuses, which she does most of the time.
-Your ZOI will do the weirdest things imaginable at times, like my ZOI, just a day after getting a newborn baby into the family, walked out of the house and ran down the streets like a maniac, just to lay down on a random wooden bench to take a long nap, maybe he just can't stand his wife but he does this regularly.

Might've forgotten stuff but from my personal experience so far into the game, these are my pros and cons on the game, but overall I don't regret buying it, I'm having loads of fun with it and I recommend it despite it being in early access and not a full release yet. If you're okay with the cons from this review and other reviews then I say definitely buy this game.

W Game bro I had issues at first with logging in but now I've played a bit and I don't regret a thing, definitely recommended, thought at first it wouldn't be as fun with those silly cartoon effects and such but it really is, fun as hell

Hands down the best lego game ever made. Not just saying this because it was 80% of my childhood but it's just generally such a good game. Great and fun missions, great secrets, great free roam and great map. Do I recommend it? Yes but not on pc. You definitely need a controller for this game.
