fun game that has finally figured out the trick of "no bad perks".
every single upgrade is fun and tons of really awesome synergies.

Game starts off pretty okay (story mode) by throwing you into a forest and doing some simple tutorial game play before the real game begins,
i wish i had something nice to say about the ACTUAL GAME PLAY. Everything from running to crafting to fighting is just bad. if you get down to 0 sanity, which is very easy to do on a first play though (since everything is gate kept by the devs in game) you become permanently soft locked after a few hours into the game. The game devs have said this is an issue they are NOT willing to fix. really could have been an okay game and i would have put up with the terrible crafting system 50/50 split between 2 different menus.
just play forest and you will be happier, do not waste your money on this game. 2/10 + points for having an okay tutorial AND for drawing of man with hard pp.

Cult of the lamb is Isaac meets gunfire meets stardew valley meets sims meets Satan. Good game, played 2 days and almost finished my first playthrough so pretty short :)

Also game scales pretty fairly, my first playthrough on expert and by no means was the game impossible or unfair in the progression of WEP dmg to enemy/boss HP. Bad RNG exists in the game but there are ways around having bad WEP dmg. (edited)

Also there's a ton of fun little things you can do with/to your cult members, keeps the game entertaining when you are stuck at base/need a break from runs.

And all boss designs are fun, new, mostly original ideas and none are outright ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ imo. Every single boss requires a different way of playing or approaching it which is what I really love about cult.

VTube Studio is a fantastic, free software that can be used to run any Live2D model.

With just over 1000 hours, most of those streamed via OBS studio, I can confidently say that this is hands down the best app I have used. The English translation from Japanese is great with no grammatical errors, so navigating the UI is easy. I have only encountered bugs regarding hotkeys, but those are fixed via restarting the program or resetting all emotes/expressions and are overall very minor and don't occur often.

Recently, I started using plugins with VTube studio to boost its performance, such as VTChaos, and Mix it up. With the API update, VTube Studio runs amazing and seamlessly with these plugins, allowing easy repositioning at the press of a button on a stream deck, changing "expressions" or adding items to the scene based on keywords said by viewers in your Twitch/YouTube chat.

One thing I wish was different was the ability to toggle a "condensed view" of your hotkeys. currently I have over 30 set up and its a little annoying to have to scroll through them individually to change or remove one.

You can add your own models, items, backgrounds by browsing VTube's local files and modifying the "streamingassets" folder <3

Had an amazing time playing this, if you are looking for a quick, low key, comfy game I would def recommend this to you!
