Crusader Kings III is one of the best strategy games at the time. It had a pretty rough start but the 2 years of constant development helped this game a lot. It's also one of the only pdx games that you can play without owning any of the DLC content. The DLCs just add a lot more flavor to the experience.
Crusader Kings is more about building your empire and your liniage and can be mad fun.
The Multiplayer is a bit unstable but, also is fun if you play with a smaller group of people.
The modding community may be the best in the entire pdx space, so many big total conversions already and many more to come, like AGOT or AtE and many more!
At the End, Ck3 is a pretty solid strategy game and utilizes every aspect that made ck2 good, even if it has something missing.
Worth the buy if your an strategy game enthusiast and like the medieval setting.
After playing a bit more hours I can probably say that the DLC are also getting better and better with each year and that the community is quite active :]
