Really wish the combat update never happened as there were already "Softcore" servers for new users to play on...skill gap is one of the bigger things that make PvP games fun. Still recommend this game due to active devs and growing community. Game would be perfect if Facepunch would open pre combat update servers for veteran players, gotta look out for the OGs as they are already dedicated.

8/10 would get offlined again

If you're looking for a game that you can actually enjoy for awhile and not complete within a week, buy this game. First time playing a Souls game, I've been told by other users that Elden Ring doesn't compare to the original Souls trilogy but I found this game to be one of my favorite games by far. Definitely plan on playing the original Souls games and DLCs of Elden Ring.
