As I grew up on William and Sly 2, I can tell you that these games are a pure nostalgia hit.

In the sequel, you play as a fox who has one main quest and two side quests. Depending on how you collect everything, you reach different end results. I personally collected everything for a good feeling and a good end result.
Depending on how you do, you get different personality outcomes! And I think that's a pretty neat idea for the end of the second game.

There's such a beautiful background and soundtrack to keep us company while we play that you'd think it would get annoying, but it won't. It's just too nice, relaxing and charming. The platform and background have an extreme amount of detail that makes the game so beautiful.
I myself, as a kid, spent hours and hours every day jumping around with our fox just to enjoy the look of the game. Even though it's an older game, it's absolutely adorable and great for what it is.

Now to the gameplay, it's really easy. Mostly you use wasd and run the map with the spacebar. The animation of the fox's movements is great, not laggy or too realistic! It's just right.
Your main goal is to get all 25 pieces of the journey, which refers a lot to the first game. And if you're interested in doing more, you can! You can find mushrooms, get keys to open treasure chests, or you can blow up rocks! And you can also store aminis that give you the power of infinite flying, which I think is adorable! There are many secret caves and items you can find in the game.

All in all, you should definitely check out the William and Sly series, especially if you played it as a kid. It's an amazing platformer with great gameplay, graphics, and music. There's nothing I don't like about the game.
