--------------------------------<"Forgotten Guilt">---------------------------------
A dead by daylight inspired story
Created with the help of artificial intelligence

In the forgotten town of Ormond, as the sun disappeared beyond the horizon, a strange and unsettling feeling settled over the decaying buildings. The place, once alive with laughter and joy, now seemed desolate and empty.

Four figures emerged from the shadows, their faces hidden behind masks that looked quite scary. Leading the way was Frank, wearing a skull mask that gave him an eerie look. Joey walked beside him, his eyes showing both fear and excitement. Following closely were Susie and Julie, their masks concealing their identities and the guilt they carried.

Footsteps echoed through the dark and quiet halls of the old mansion. Each step was followed by the distant sound of the wind blowing through broken windows. The group had returned to the site of their worst actions, the place where they had once embraced chaos.

"Why did you bring us here, Frank?" Julie's voice shook beneath her mask.

Frank, his eyes hidden behind the skull mask, looked determined. "To remember, Julie. To remember who we were and what we've become."

Joey's voice quivered. "Yeah, but this place gives me the creeps."

Susie chimed in, her tone tense. "We should've never done those things, Frank. It was a mistake."

Frank's voice remained resolute, though it held a hint of regret. "We can't change the past, Susie. But we can face it."

They descended into the heart of the mansion, a grand hall that had witnessed their misdeeds. The air grew colder, carrying an unsettling energy that sent shivers down their spines. Graffiti covered the walls, evidence of their rebellious past. But the red letters seemed to move, as if they were alive.

As they explored further, the air grew even colder, and their breath formed mist in front of them. Suddenly, a faint voice whispered through the air. "Why did you abandon us?"

The group froze, their masks unable to shield them from the creeping fear. "Who's there?" Frank's voice wavered, betraying his earlier confidence.

The whisper grew louder, like a chorus of voices coming from all around them. "You let us die. You let us suffer."

Their masks felt tight, as memories of a Halloween party flooded their minds. They could see the faces of the people they had hurt, their pleas for mercy echoing in their heads.

Then, as if appearing out of thin air, the ghosts materialized before them – the tormented souls of those they had harmed. Their eyes were hollow, their bodies twisted in pain. "Now, you'll experience what we felt."

A cold wind blew out their lanterns, plunging them into darkness. Panic took over, and The Legion ran, their footsteps echoing as they tried to escape the wrath of the vengeful spirits.

But no matter where they went, the ghosts followed, a constant reminder of their past actions. And one by one, The Legion fell, their masks torn away, their faces contorted in agony.

In the end, as their screams faded, the mansion returned to silence. Ormond remained a place of emptiness, haunted by the memories of their deeds and the lingering echoes of The Legion's downfall.
