City of Brocken Dreamers: Book One did set a new standard in graphic and animation for Ren'Py games (in 2020 together with Being a D.I.K.). Depraved Awakening was from the same developer.
This AVN plays in a futuristic cyberpunk scenario and the main figure is a mercenary who gets the contract to hunt down a young woman. On the hunt you meet a lot of hot women and depending on your decisions you can have fun with them. There are many good scenes and they have animations. The dev likes it rough.
The story is good and you can make decisions, but these decisions do make only small changes on the story path. The main impact is on the relationships with the women.
Book 1 did end in the middle of the story and there was a long time no update or any info about book 2 coming to steam.
The dev did improve the graphics of book 1 and released these improvements now (2024) with book 2 also on steam.

It's really a very good game and I had a lot of fun with it. My playtime is so high, because I did write a guide.

I will use your guide once I have made a play thru or two. Your guides are awesome, and have used them for many of the games I have played. Thank you for all the work that you put into them, it is much appreciated.:104::104:

Yes, I knew that. I had played Book 1 a long time ago and had forgotten a lot of what happened in the story.

I like to revisit previous seasons/books in stories I haven't played in a long time. It helps refresh my memory of what was happening in the story, making the new content more enjoyable. It also helps me follow along with the plot better.

I play many of these stories, so it is not always easy to remember all of the specifics of each.

book 2 is a DLC for book1, it's the final book and already on steam.

I'm going to have to revisit this one. I enjoyed book one, but I've been waiting a long time for book 2. I loved the dev's other project, Depraved Awakening, so I'm looking forward to Book 2 of this one.
