A rich setting, fun, varied gameplay, tragic characters, and a shockingly deep story that ranges from good to masterful make me absolutely recommend this game. The cyberpunk genre is fully realised in all its beauty and ugliness.

some endings are perfectly fine, but others deliver touching messages that tackle difficult themes with a depth and tact I was not at all anticipating. 3 of the 6 endings in particular stand out as veritable emotional gut-punches that wrenched precious drops of empathy from my cold empty heart.

The biggest flaws in the experience are odd difficulty scaling, poor performance on lower end rigs, and a rare few mediocre side quests. In the face of what the game does right, these to me are minor gripes that fail to impede the uniquely excellent experience presented. besides, there's mods for almost any issue you may have.

I recognise the experience is not going to be for everyone, but buying this game on sale would in my opinion be absolutely worth it for even those on the fence.

Here are some mods I highly recommend:

very fun. my favourite combat in any game, there's so much room for mastery. i would recommend mods after a few ng+ cycles to keep the challenge high

It's atmospheric and despite being a zombie game the lore is very intriguing. Delivers an experience similar to Tarkov, but it is more forgiving and the abundant grunts in the game make for more exciting gameplay, even when playing passively.

However, the game is a bit unoptimised and you cannot turn the graphics settings down as much as I'd hoped for, so I would not reccommend if you care about graphics/fps and have a below average PC.

Highly recommend -- fantastic value for money with endless customisation, and more importantly endless levels of difficulty in the workshop (which I advise is the only mode you use).

Best aim software for tracking I've found, with in my mind the only other programme that can compete being Aimlab because of its AI training (and even then I'm using it only supplementarily). Point-click aim tasks are also incredible, just be sure not to waste your time with easy tasks and to challenge yourself.

edit: this was a while ago. still recommend it but it's gotten pretty stagnant and you can definitely get more out of KovaaK's which imo is its main competitor. ultimately though they're comparable, and though Aimlab has a lot less tasks i end up using it more simply because of its faster startup time.

Fantastic for flick training--the AI training which adapts to weaknesses brings it above other solutions like Kovaak's; I feel as if I have dramatically improved the variety of shots I am able to take since having started. The lack of customizability may put off some, but in my opinion this isn't an issue for any of the flick-based tasks.
Tracking tasks leave a bit to be desired, however, and for this I feel it is best used in conjunction with other software.
Nevertheless, I find it's a great product with active and responsive devs. It brings to the table qualities I haven't found in any other program and I would highly recommend it.
