as someone who didnt play dying light 1 and got into this game completely blind i would recommend it, its beginner friendly but it also has some challenges as you progress through it and explore new areas, the combat system is extremely simple but also very satisfying, the parkour is just amazing and the campaign story is also very good it really feels like you get to have an impactful decisions that will change the story (i have no idea if different decisions give different endings, still havent finished the story) over all its a great game in my opnion and i would highly recommend it.
