I was given the game for free to try it on stream, and both me and my community loved it!
From creepy ambient sounds and screams, to dark forests that you need to find your way through, monsters that chase you and a little bit of puzzle here and there, UNGATE gave me the ultimate experience of please please please be the right way, and please please please give me more batteries.
All jokes aside, the game is good, challenging and slightly difficult when it comes to spacial awareness. If you have none like me, I wish you the best of luck.
The only downside, for me, is the lack of story explanations. You somehow never find out how you ended up fighting demons and eventual Satan.
Overall I would give it a solid 8.5/10 and would highly recommend it to horror games enthusiasts that are looking for a challenge!

Slightly scary at the beginning, but a lot of fun once you get a hold of the game.

The general idea is easy to comprehend, so the fun lays in learning new tricks to chase the killer/the survivor, hide, help your teammates and overall finish all the objectives while enjoying the game.

Of course, like every other game, there are players that make it annoying once in a while. For example: killers who face camp throughout the game, or survivors who simply hide and wait for everybody to die and then look for the hatch.

Nevertheless, I truly recommend this game if you're looking for some fun and little bit scary pvp to enjoy with your friends. I'm quite sure you'll love it once you understand the basics of it.
