great game, but for the love of god dont even bother trying to mod it unless you want to tear your f***ing hair out with continuous crashing

After 37 hours id still recommend the game, dont get me wrong its fun.

but after my single long playthrough its just boring to me, maybe its since ive gotten older but the game honestly just doesn't have the same magic as the first game did, the entertainment value isnt there for me to do another run through for another ending.

still shouldnt scare you away from buying the game though again i still think its worth the money

Plain and simple
*Spawn killing is prevalent in Ground Battles
*Must buy premium to not have to grind 1000s of hours for a single tech tree
* Generally toxic player base
*So ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ incredibly grindy
*Devs "reworked" the economy and made the Research Point and Silver Lion grind even worse

Game is a shell of its former self and sticking a live racoon up my ass would be more fun than playing another match.

Game is also a love hate relationship. We all love the massive accurate military cesspool of vehicles. However the negatives outweigh the positives.

You will only play it because there is nothing else like it.

This game is a waste of time at this point

quite frankly go play War Thunder. its so much better than this trash excuse of a title.

Here is why this game is dogS***
*Constant uptier which means you fight all the things you cant harm but will 1 shot you
* Immense grind after tier 6 which takes decades even with overpriced premium
* Bias based around premium tanks such as a tier 6 tiger with the same stats as a tier 7 tiger but you get to curbstomp tier 4s
* Premium ammo basically trumps the armor value of anything long as you destroy your silver currency or blow a bunch of money on Premium gold to obtain it. Basically real money for performance
* Cost of Premium ammo in sliver pushes you to buy a premium tank to make silver faster
* Premium tanks are literally only for money. their XP must be "Converted" which is do-able ONLY by using the premium GOLD currency which is only really obtained with real money
* Premium tanks for I.E Soviet Russian cant actually contribute research for any russian vehicle and as said above can only be used for research if you shell out real world money for in game gold
* Basically everything is slowed down to the point you have to buy premium to get enough research or silver to even buy a new vehicle before you die of old age
* Artillery is the cold rolled steel embodiment of cancer
* Artillery is spammed every game, has the ability to fire across the map, 1 shot or fully disable your tank
* Toxic, no help community
* Greedy developers


TLDR i have 2000+ hours on Xbox WoT and finally gave up after things kept getting worse and worse, tried to see if PC is any better and its still a broken no fun trash heap.

If im being honest i truly dont get why the game is rated so highly as its actually rather barebones and not very special. I understand that the dev team is actually very small however i will admit this game is dissapointing once you get past the beautiful sheen of pixel graphics, color-blasted forests and the wide vast nothingness of the ocean. Here's why i personally dont recommend the game (IM NOT SAYING DONT BUY THIS BUT BE WARNED)

Combat: Nothing special or intuitive its basically hold your guard up and walk backwards, maybe get a few parries off and mash the attack button, nothing more nothing less. Enemies consist mainly of hordes of Greylings and Greydwarfs which will swamp you with no end. seriously night time in the black forest is basically a low res World War Z. Good luck having any peace or quiet.

The Grind. I get it its a survival game, tasks are going to get repetitive but man. Sailing for 30 minuets because you have no good biomes near you just to usually get 2 shot by a mob is infuriating, coupled with the limited weight and inventory space the mid game Iron grind will make you want to off yourself with whatever sharp instrument is nearby.

Difficulty: There is no true scaling only 1 of 2 extremes. 1 youre either powerful enough to either stomp anything that looks at you with your sheer cold hard nordic gaze. Or on the opposite end youre wearing full iron armor thats been upgraded pretty well. It still doesnt stop certain enemies like Ice Drakes or Wolves from quite literally 1 shotting you. The mid game Silver grind leading upto the BoneMass boss is horrid, couple a rare metal, wolves and ice drakes out the A** and then the incredibly stupid Freezing or Frozen stats where youre ticking health away constantly or a drake hits you for 70 damage in one blast and you literally cannot move to get away. The game either gives you crutches or breaks your legs.

Exploration: Dont get me started. all the things you see about how great it is to find new things is all one big lie personally. I have 24 hours on record and have explored every single biome. Swamp. Meadows, Plains, Ocean and finally the Black Forest. There is quite literally nothing new or exciting after the first run through of each, the same copy and paste broken down buildings, Dungeons and thats it, usually packed with blockers like the Muddy Scrap piles you have to slave away mining just to progress, sometimes hordes of mobs you really have no way of fighting and thats really it, as well as lackluster loot.

Archery: ah yes the 45 degree drop when you aim at a target 10 feet away its awful.

Bugs: Not many as the game lacks enough content and general things to really have many issues however dont be surprized if you log in or walk back to your dock and your boat is simply gonem despawned. Had a LongShip (last boat you can get) and a damn seagull landed on it, took off, and the boat literally disappeared when the gull took flight.

All in all the game lacks enough content to keep it interesting and hopefully the Devs can keep it going. However deep down i do feel like this will be the viking version of Among Us where it has a massive launch the players love it then the lack of really any depth other than running and clicking leads to the playerbase all but forgetting about it. If the Devs of Valheim read this then please put some time and effort to make new content, add onto the systems in place as they need it badly, and lastly make sure the game stays interesting. Cause currently its just no enough.
