I've genuinely wanted a game that has this exact art style for so long. I truly hope to see it receive future updates and/or DLC expansions going forward; and that it can develop a name for itself in due time! I love how easy-going the gameplay loop is without the constant need to check stamina or the time at night. Also having 4-player co-op in this day one was absolutely the move!

I genuinely love seeing so many new indie devs try their own thing and see immediate success with their unique vision. I'll never get over the various art styles and nostalgic charm these type of games give off - the atmosphere is so cozy. Please do yourself and the devs a favor and support this kind of content :3

No verbal words can describe this game in a way that fully describes how it makes you feel.

Without spoilers, there are so many things to see, characters to meet, and secrets to uncover. I can confidently say no other game feels or has made me feel the way this game has by the end.

I feel it will truly change something within you, and displays a theme so powerful even though it technically doesn't exist. A true juxtaposition between reality and an ongoing lucid dream, that makes you constantly curious about how the plot will push forward.

That's all I can say. It is 100% an experience that will stick with you if you see it all the way through. Highly replayable as well*

Beautiful artwork and a soundtrack that is genuinely euphoric and worth paying for. I hope to possibly see more from Omocat......

Early Access Review
BattleBit - a game I want to caress and protect during the late stage live service era of Video Games.

Please play this if you have the money, friends, or grew up experiencing CoD or Battlefield. Even if you don't check all these boxes, these devs truly deserve your time and money for the content currently available.

- 19+ maps
- 200 ranks
- 127v127, 64v64, and 32v32 player servers with multiple gamemodes.
- Passionate community and Devs.
- Multiple different classes and gun types. A LOT of different lethal and tactical equipment to choose from.
- Strong sandbox gameplay with high replay-ability and match variety.
- Moment to Moment gameplay with proximity chat.
- No Microtransactions, or bs distractions.
- Deep solider, and weapon customization - with camos, abundant amount of attachments, and uniform variety.
Good netcode/connection.

Genuinely has strong potential with what's already been completed. I truly hope Bots can be added in at some point, to preserve the longevity of this game.

I have multiple Steam games and have never felt it was necessary to write a review for a game before. Mostly because several people already state my opinons in a more fluid and articulated manner - but this game is practically begging me to at this point..

Here a list of issues my friends, I and I'm sure many others have encountered in literally just 2 days of launch. I feel like the Beta for this game was completely useless, and only used to get people to preorder; Many of the issues from the Beta are unsurprisingly still relevant here.

- Terrible UI: UI looks like a genuine mobile game, camo categories are glitchy and are a slog to move through no matter the platform you play on. Not to mention you can barely see what camos are unlocked. When making classes or clicking certain things, you'll just get kicked to the main menu AND/or you'll just crash lmfao. Just broken and objectively worse than MW19's UI imho.

- The spawns.. how do these spawns exist lol? Play a game of free-for-all private match with the same amount of bots as a regular MP match, and you'll see what I mean. People either spawn in your ass or you spawn in the most inconvenient area. My friends and I were playing Hardpoint and got flashed and killed by grenades immediately after spawning. It may seem like I am nitpicking a particular moment/killcam, but this happens pretty often.

- Attachment problems - Many attachments simply don't show you what they improve, or don't tell you how to unlock said attachment. They are completely useless currently because there is simply no way to see how they improve your overall gun stats, or even how to unlock them.

- "Co-Op": Cooperative IS an improvement over MW19's broken Spec Ops launch, but is still lacking content nonetheless. MW2 2009 had over 23 missions you could tackle solo or with a friend, yet this game has 3.. IW just keeps spreading themselves too thin with WZ 2.0, DMZ, MP, Ground War, Invasion, Campaign, Co Op. Like the modes are FINE, but again very shallow as a whole so far.

- Broken Hit Detection: The netcode and server tick rates are completely all over the place in this game. I and many others are pointing out how we can shoot someone in the back 4 times and the enemy can turn around and 2 shot us, for example. Just exhausting to play against. This is why many of us enjoyed HC and were looking forward to playing it, but yk..

- SBMM: We all know why this is an issue, and it is especially broken at release. Every game has sweats jumping and immediately killing you. No its not a sKiLl IsSue lmfao, its the lack of matchmaking thought and care. Previous IW employees have mentioned that SBMM is constantly required and forced to be implemented, and I genuinely don't see why. Older CoD games had this crazy thing called a "ranked" playlist, for those who liked competition; hell many games STILL have ranked.

- "Revamped Perk System": Objectively worse than MW19. What is the point of using Ghost when it "charges" after the match is 75% over already? The perk system is a decent idea, but there was simply nothing wrong with how the other games did their perk systems. This just seems more complicated and unnecessary.

- Footsteps.. are somehow worse than they were in the beta. They give no indication/correlation of where said enemy is. Sometimes even possible to not hear them at all WITHOUT dead silence activated. I don't understand the issue here or why footsteps have been a constant problem for 3 years now..

- Constant Crashing on PC: Just got on today and tried playing with 2 other friends.. I crashed 2 times within a literal 5 minute span. Not to mention of the Shooting Range is basically unplayable when matchmaking with friends - as it will crash or bug out. Be weary of crashing no matter where or what you are doing in a match.

- Basic stat and menus are completely gone: no barracks, no stats, challenges, medals, leaderboards or any other BASIC features that literally all other games have launched with.

- No Hardcore at Launch?? Some of you may not care/play hardcore but my group of friends basically only played HC in MW19, and to not see it here is genuinely disappointing. Core is spongy as hell and guns regularly take 5-6 shots. Shotguns even take 2-3 shots at POINT BLANK range. Even advertised having at launch yet its completely gone.

- Multiple guns from the Campaign are being put into Season One and are not in at launch. Why is this a thing? Its typical live service BS where they pad out each season by adding basic stuff back that was already in before launch.

- No Reticles?? Like what? This is the first game to literally just have zero reticle customization.

- No Split-Screen play: literally a staple feature in many games like Halo and CoD and yet its just absent here.

- No missions or challenges to grind: MW2 2009 had multiple challenges for getting calling cards and emblems, yet this game has none of that. Just a bunch of pride CC's, which theres nothing wrong with, but still a stunning lack of any cosmetics nonetheless.

- Multiple bugs and crashes when playing with a party.. Completely ruined launch day for many. I understand most of it will be fixed eventually, but no one paid $70-$100 to have a broken game at launch.

- No map voting or classic prestige system. It's tiring playing the same map in a row 3 times. Why do we take a step back and remove said feature, when Cold War implemented it just fine. It's just basic ♥♥♥♥ they don't care to reimplement - yet they wanna "reinvent" the things that simply need no changing, like the UI and Perk system.

- No 10v10 matchmaking? You'd think with these massive maps and better technology in 2022 we'd get more players in a lobby, but since the game can barely handle 6v6 its understandable ig. When playing TDM or Dom it takes literal minutes to find people.

Mini List of issues that don't need explanation, yet are a no brainer to implement:
- No weapon inspect in Gunsmith
- No ability to save custom blueprints
- No toggle for Crossplay
- No Attachment or Camo unlock notifications
- Broken drivers and unoptimized play for PC and PS4 users.

Remember this game was in development for 3 years..
I completely understand that many of these problems can and most likely WILL be fixed overtime hopefully, but to not having a working game at launch is getting tiring. I can't say to speak with your wallet because fans of a series (including myself) will always get excited for something they played as a kid or something that looks entertaining with friends. I don't mind most of the mechanics or what the overall goal this game is trying to achieve, I'm just tired of never being heard by these soulless corporations. These are basic QA things that should've been tested before launch, yet every publisher or game studio looks like a deer in headlights when they see their game have a negative/mixed reception. Or they simply just don't care lol, which is also a possibility.

I want to see this game at its peak, but having to wait more than we already have to see that happen is again tiresome. I just feel like my time and money are being disrespected when I see the state of the game currently. I don't know when these companies will simply learn that they'll get all the money they'll ever need or want, if they just give their fans what they want. Why milk your fans for bundles and playtime when you can simply get people to play more by making the game complete and FUN?!

That's the disconnect between Old and Newer CoDs..
